Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Made me think, we went from oh cool, they finally got rid of those annoying ticket books and went to one price, to.....what we have now. :bookworm:

News New Club Cool opens Summer 2021 at EPCOT

Agree 1000% and shocked/pleased to see Club Cool stay with the real deal.

    DJ at MK exit

And I generally try to look at things with nuance. It is refreshing to see a united front against this sort of nonsense on Main Street of all places (I felt the same way about the theme-destroying dance parties in Tomorrowland, and IIRC there was definitely not a united front on that one). But I...

Oh for sure, but in my opinion it has been compounding quite a bit more in the 2000s. First trip 1976, last 2014, for whatever that's worth. And I'm certainly not lobbying for others to join me in my loss of enthusiasm for WDW at all.

    DJ at MK exit

This just kinda sums up why some of us are sadly pretty done with the place. I feel so bad for the guy who was just doing his job and was probably excited and grateful for the gig and was put in this unfortunate position by clueless execs. Some of us who have become disenchanted over the past...

Disney Genie and Genie+ at Walt Disney World

This all sounds like so much fun! Absolutely absurd, all of it. Maybe I go back one more time to attempt to enjoy the remaining classics, but I think that will probably be it for me.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/coronavirus/dallas-county-reports-592-cases-of-covid-19-3-deaths/2462390/ "The people who died after contracting COVID-19 included a Garland woman in her 30s who died on a domestic flight" No, these cases of sudden death don't seem to be so widespread here (yet)...

Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs permanently closed?

Bummer, it was pretty reliably good and reasonable. The pizza certainly beat Blaze handily in my opinion.

Point out one person who has said that. (I know, I know, it's a "joke").

    What is YOUR WDW Decade?

81-91, no contest.....mainly because of prime Epcot.

Do you think that Disney world will reclose its gates due to the rising number of COVID cases in Florida and around the country?

I knew from the beginning that a certain swath of this country would handle this poorly, but never dreamed they would be quite this obstinate and uncaring. But it's taught me a lot.

News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

I always kinda liked it too. Of course it could and should have been themed better but it was a fun little ride.

Do you think that Disney world will reclose its gates due to the rising number of COVID cases in Florida and around the country?

I love sports and miss them, but for me personally there's never a shortage of things to do at home. Whether menial home chores or some of the inexhaustible means of entertainment we have at our disposal.

Hey we've circled from arguing about Covid back to the old reliable Disney Is A Business, Y'all. A light in the darkness. A port in the storm. ;)

Ivy League just cancelled all fall sports. You may say, Ivy League, so what....but they were the first to halt basketball in the spring too. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/29430262/ivy-league-rules-playing-all-sports-fall-due-coronavirus-pandemic

Agree 100%. I expect an "abundance of caution" message on Monday or Tuesday. But that is strictly opinion.
