FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Based upon hypotheticals and no verified information on what the WDW product will be or cost, with a shock to the system like what you’re explaining I’m sure you’ll see some guest behavior shift. In addition to it being another revenue stream in the parks, could the shift in consumer behavior...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Valid points on scale/duration. I can agree with you on that aspect. However, consumer behavior when it comes to products and services that offer convenience and time savings, regardless of industry, can’t be ignored either here. Convenience almost always comes at a cost and there is almost...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

When it comes to a service or product offering convenience product or service, there sure is a comparison in the habits of people’s desire to spend their money for said products/services that add convenience and a time savings to ones day.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Universal has three parks that offer a product for skip the line access. While one is a water park, even that has an “all attractions” express pass option that is at $109.99 (looking at same day pricing). People pay it. There’s demand-based pricing for their product. Not all, but those that...

Yet people are paying over $200 just to the north for skip the line access?

Lol. Usually that’s how a company works. 🙄 Decisions are made for new products, services, or operational changes by those in positions at a particular level of leadership within a company. 🤦‍♂️

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I don’t recall ever being told that by someone who makes operational or product offering decisions. Could definitely be something that I missed. Who has said that from a decision making level of the company? However, if that’s the case, why weren’t people this vocal about paid FP+ or similar...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

You don’t “have” to add attractions. It’s a choice to purchase the paid skip the line product/offering or wait stand-by. You know, much like it’s a choice to take a Minnie Van or Urber vs waiting for the resort bus. People aren’t being “forced” to purchase access to a ride.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Let us all not forget that WDW was already testing the waters with paid FP+ prior to COVID. It was a pilot program where guests staying in Club Level accommodations and 3-bdrm Grand Villas (ultimately those guests that had access to Signature Services during their stay) were able to purchase an...

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Be sure to come back and let us know how that turns out for you! (Probably much like the last time Maleficent decided to be a hothead.) smh PS - it sounds like you’re about to have a magical time on vacation. Just do us all a favor and don’t take your wrath out on the cast members when they...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

So, the permit that has Incarus Exhibits as the contractor was for the stage repair? Didn’t Icarus Exhibits do the castle overlay for the Happiest Celebration on Earth? From the glimpse in the 50th Celebration teaser video, it looks like there will be a similar overlay to Cinderella’s Castle as...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

Do we know what the 12/22 permit filed with Icarus Exhibits is for? Anyone think the moat dams could be for some sort of install work relating to that permit and could be for some sort of additional 50th overlay to the castle?

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

I mean the route taken is the obvious choice given the extent of repairs needed, but there could’ve been alternatives I’m sure we all could think of in this day and age that involve less than desirable outcomes.

Good to see that they are spending the $$$ to fix/replace the damaged stage.

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

Of course the barges are easy to point-out given their size, however, 3 factors come to mind before anything relating to the Harmonious barges being reason kites wouldn’t come back should we see EF make another appearance on World Showcase Lagoon. 1.) Lack of ability to physically distance the...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

If memory serves me right, the last major change/expansion in the stage was between Cinderella’s Surprise Celebration and Cinderellabration in conjunction with the Happiest Celebration on Earth. That would mean it’s been ~ 16 years since the last major redesign of the forecourt stage. What I...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

There is still 588 days until the actual 50th. At this point, I’m going to remain optimistic about entertainment offerings that will be enhanced and/or added for the 50th celebration.

Applying for position with Universal Orlando

Good afternoon - I typically scan the forums and read what's posted versus posting myself. However, I wanted to take a moment and inquire if anyone is familiar with the hiring process at Universal Orlando. I have a background in management and just applied for an Assistant Manager position in...
