    Is everything closed for refurbishment?

Soarin' is exactly the same as Epcot, Peter Pan is a little different, (I like WDW version better), Winnie the Pooh (exactly the same as Magic Kingdom), and Matterhorn is fun but not a must do. There are soooo many different rides at DLR that you don't have at WDW that the trip will still be...

Yeti is indeed being fixed! Update 8/4/2014

Naw...Fix-it-Felix should be put on the job. His magic hammer is better than Handy Manny's toolbelt.

The Park Formerly Known as Disney's Hollywood Studios? Yep ...

Disney's Hollywood Land??? I just don't like it. And with AI Experience closing, just shortens the amount of attractions that tpfkaDHS has to offer. Hopefully we get a press release soon about coming construction plans for tpfkaDHS.

    Toy Story and Soarin Rumors

That difference is only 4300 people a day, so that is 23,000 into DCA which has a ton of attractions and shows, and 27,000 into DHS which is lacking in both attractions and shows. DCA has like 5 E tickets, RSR, ToT, California Screamin, Grizzly River Run, and Soarin'. What do we have at DHS...

    Toy Story and Soarin Rumors

I think the original poster meant that Epcot and DHS lack rides. Which is true. In DL resort they cram as many rides into two parks that WDW has in four.

    Toy Story and Soarin Rumors

And the reason Midway doesn't have the wait times at DCA where DHS does, is well actually two reasons, no actually three. 1. TSMM is not the newest ride in the park. All of Cars Land, Arial, SSS, and Goofy's (alright a retheme not a new ride) came after TSMM. 2. There are twice as many rides /...

    7 Dwarfs Mine Train was...

I don't think there is much that is worth a two hour wait. Experienced RSR in DCA this spring and would not have waited two hours for that, and it was awesome. HP down the road isn't worth a two hour wait, and that was awesome. Guess my time is valuable to me. Just can't justify a 120 min...

Need help w/ Radiator Springs fast pass

So you still waited in line for an hour for RSR... My recommendation is if you cannot get FP's first thing, just do single rider line. You will likely still have someone from your party in your vehicle or racing against you.

Disneyland 1st Timer! If we go to Disneyland or Not go to Disneyland, that is the question!

That was going to be my first recommendation. We were there in April for 3 days and the TouringPlan was essential for us to get as much done as we did. My only recommendation that the TP did not have was to skip the standby line for RSR if you do not get FP's. Do the single rider line. The...

Trip Report Go west they said. The weather is so perfect you'll never want to leave they said.

Sweetpee, even though its been less than a month since we were there, reading your trip report is already making me want to 'go west' again, and soon. Though I fear that it will be a couple years before we get out there again. Typically we do at least a week at WDW and by the end, we are...

Trip Report Go west they said. The weather is so perfect you'll never want to leave they said.

I liked PP, but prefer MK PP to this one. The flying through the stars seemed too long and the flying over Neverland seemed too short. I loved the Tiki Room and loved how it was packed for every performance. Funny how East coast people love the Country Bears (and West coast didn't, hence the...

Trip Report Go west they said. The weather is so perfect you'll never want to leave they said.

Goat trick??? Missed that one. Also at DL they still let you ride up front of the monorail....Hope you had a chance to do that...now back to reading.

Trip Report Go west they said. The weather is so perfect you'll never want to leave they said.

My thoughts exactly. Although every time (3 times) I rode it last month, I ended up going through Ramone's for a paint job, so no tire change for me yet. Thanks for the trip report Sweetpee. This is awesome so far!!

Disneyland's Autopia Being Demolished? Does this mean Speedway Stays?

Completely agree. Love the Autopia, hate Tomorrowland Speedway.

    One Day in Disneyland tips

Make sure you are there before rope drop so you can hit Indy before the crowd builds. Then hit the other big ticket items, likt POTC, Splash, BTMRR, and Matterhorn before noon. You know, for an extra $40 or so, you could make it a park hopper and go do Radiator Springs, knock that out with the...

Star Wars Land rumors...any truth to this?

I was able to ride in the front of the monorail while I was there last month. Missed being able to do that in WDW, used to love that, happy they still allow it at DL. Anyway, the monorail driver also works the subs and I asked him if there was any truth to the Star Wars rumors as a replacement...

    And we're back!!

It was...ok...overpriced for what it was. Good to say that I did it, but will never do it again. AC did not work in the room so i was stuffy, even with porthole open. Room (I'm sorry, cabin) was large, 2 queen beds with plenty of extra space, but it felt dated, and not in a very nice way like...

    And we're back!!

That is pretty much what we did last month. Flew into San Fran, spent two days there, went to Mt. View visited with friends there for a few days, went to Monterey for a day and night, drove the 17 mile drive and down Hwy 1, spent a night in Morro Bay, though if I were to do it again I would...

    "Mickey's Death Wheel"

Raven, I am surprised by peoples reaction to the fun wheel. My DW, who is extremely motion sickness prone, looovvved the fun wheel when we were there last month. It was one of her favorite rides. To tell you the truth, that shocked me. My DD, DS, and I had just done California Screaming, and...
