It would be more appropriate for Animal Kingdom than Zootopia, as even though it’s still just anthropomorphic animals playing out fairly human situations, the situations are slightly less human, and so is the setting.
It’s probably fan art rather than real Disney concept art, but I’d imagine it’s for a Dubai park, given that the castle area looks to have an arabian influence, there’s an indoor pixar land to the bottom left(indoor theme parks or indoor lands seem to be popular in the UAE due to the heat), and...
The Good Dinosaur was a box office flop - it isn’t very popular, Disney won’t want to make a ride from it.
As previously said, It’s Tough To Be A Bug is edutainment.
But both Zootopia and The Good Dinosaur has anthropomorphic animals playing out human situations. Admittedly, Zootopia is a bit more about human situations, but the point stands - I don’t think the real dinosaurs built basic buildings, farmed or owned a pet.
I don’t know if that’s a rumour, but I highly doubt that would ever happen, as it’d be a useless change. The only thing that would be changing is the name, and that means nothing, so why would they even put thought into such a useless change.
Agreed, I really enjoyed the film and it deserves some representation within the resort, I would just prefer it if it were placed somewhere appropriate.
Mystic Manor is in a mini land called Mystic Point in Hong Kong Disneyland, a monkey accidentally opens a magic chest and it makes the contents of the house(many items collected from adventures by the owner from around the world). So you go through many different rooms where the statues...
There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the theming in relation to Animal Kingdom.
Attractions at Animal Kingdom should be primarily about animals of the past and present, and of the mythical. There should also be a theme of conservation and not over-exploiting resources when it comes to...
Adventure isn’t one of the themes of Animal Kingdom(there is some sense of adventure throughout the park, but it isn’t a major theme) so you couldn’t base an attraction entirely off of it - you’d have to put it in Adventureland, or better yet it’s own mini land(like Mystic Point in Hong Kong)...
Imaginary animals and ecosystems, but Pandora represents Earth. The wildlife and plants are inspired by real plants and animals - the one thing that isn’t very Earth-like are the banshees.
I’d say although the rides themselves have not much to do with the themes of Animal Kingdom, the actual film is the perfect IP. Avatar is all about conservation, respecting the environment and not exploiting the environment for profit(it’s also about retaining culture, but obviously that isn’t...
