Disney put out a press release today for the holidays. No mention of Peace on Earth finale for IllumiNations. Just missing from the copy, or cut? @marni1971 have you heard anything this year?

· New Holidays Around the World Marketplaces – Explore what the holidays taste like around the globe at five new marketplaces: indulge in duck confit and dumplings from the Alpine Haus Marketplace, celebrate with the shredded beef tamale from the Three Kings Feast Marketplace, toast with Williams Punch from the Germany Marketplace, and more.

· Holidays Around the World entertainment – Enjoy the sights and sounds of the nations of World Showcase, as each country’s holiday heritage comes to life amid joyful music and time-honored traditions.

· A cherished Epcot tradition, the Candlelight Processional captures the spirit of the season in the retelling of the Christmas story by celebrity narrators, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir. The Candlelight Processional is performed three times each evening, 5:00, 6:45 and 8 p.m. at America Gardens Theatre from Nov. 25-Dec. 30. Narrators in 2016 include Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Meredith Vieira, and Cal. Ripken, Jr. Candlelight dinner packages are available through Disneyworld.com/holiday.

That's odd. They were working on a new tag last year that didn't make it in time. Perhaps that's related?

On 12/1 I have an Ohana breakfast scheduled and a Garden Grill/CP package Lunch. The Holidays around the World Marketplace sounds delicious. How the heck am I going to be able to eat this much food?!

That's odd they left it out of the press release.

I doesn't look like they specifically label it the "Peace on Earth" tag. Although I can't recall if it was ever referred to as that on disneyworld.com.

And it is also only until 12/30. Last year the tag was included on the early 12/31 show too.

It'll nice to be able to see Peace on Earth. 2016 has been far too tumultuous and horrible for everyone and I think that the tag is a beautiful, quiet reminder that things can and will get much better, as is Illuminations as a whole.

While Illuminations is a good show, I have some issues with the globe that is too small to see what's happening on it and the lake-level effects which you can't see if you're three people back in the crowd. And so, for me, the PoE tag is a highlight since it's excellent fireworks and theming and high enough to be seen. The final really big explosions right over the lake are literally impactful. Glad it's back. They shouldn't be tinkering with it. Tinker with the lake level effects to make them higher.
