    Coca-Cola Store at Disney Springs

Probably about as much impact as putting in several Starbucks locations across the parks. They'll all be just as frequented. Plus, this Coca Cola experience should be quite different than Club Cool. Looking forward to it!

    Great Disney Quest article

It's sad, but it's true. With DQ being the "rainy day choice" for those who get the Water Parks and More option, that alone keeps the building filled - to capacity at times. I was an Ops. GSM here and can tell you that it was all we could do to keep up with things that go down. The on-site...

    New Monorail Fleet for WDW

Aww, ponies! No, the reason I mentioned it is because many repliers seem to think that this was a comment by a CM out of sheer boredom, or simply for mayhem. As I said in my original post, I know how rumors can spread even among CMs so that even they believe them to be true. Which is why I...

    New Monorail Fleet for WDW

I suppose I should mention that the CM I heard this from is someone I know, not just some CM I struck up a conversation with while waiting for a monorail... :cyclops:

    New Monorail Fleet for WDW

That's where they started losing me too. *sigh* I suppose no one would actually be able to confirm this even if they were actually in the know, since doing so would cause them to lose their "cred" if the plan were to fall through. I'd say talks at a board meeting are just that, talks. But as...

    New Monorail Fleet for WDW

I am always one to be super skeptical about any rumors I hear, but I happen to have a very reliable source for this new information! A Monorail CM told me yesterday that he and the rest of the Monorail transport team were informed by their managers that the topic was discussed at length in a...

The most expensive rides that were destroyed/replaced

Yeah! Here's a little blurb from Wikipedia detailing his original concept of the ride: As an original story was developed, George Lucas was brought in to work on the project. This version's storyline had X-S Tech's open house being a front for exposing human guinea pigs to an alien monster...

The most expensive rides that were destroyed/replaced

I'm not sure how much it cost to build, but 8 years of planning and design certainly is expensive. This is how much time went into creating Alien Encounter, which I miss a LOT! I was fortunate enough, though, to see the very last showing, for CMs only! :D

Long Ridiculous Rant - My Complete AP Fiasco

A very good point! If they let you, use your thumb. It's always the most well-defined print on either hand.

Long Ridiculous Rant - My Complete AP Fiasco

I'm not sure how the biometrics work at the park turnstiles, but I want to say that they probably cannot adjust the sensitivity manually at an individual reader. More likely, the adjustment would have to come from the software side, and affect all the readers. This is why the CMs usually just...

Long Ridiculous Rant - My Complete AP Fiasco

I work with a fingerprint scanner almost daily, and have seen literally thousands of fingerprints and can tell you definitively that it is the technology that's lacking, not you! True, yes, that there are many people that have very faint fingerprints, if any at all. But the technology not...

Tell me about food and wine festival!

Alright, I've got one for all you foodies who I know will have an answer for me! I feel I've spent way too much time searching for something that may just not be out there yet. I'm wanting to research the various F&W seminars that they will be holding this year so that I can try to make...

When is it "too friendly"? Ladies, what do you say?

To clarify, the Morocco pavilion is not owned by the Moroccan government, but King Hassan II did help fund it and sent his own designers to help WDI create and construct the pavilion. The Cast Members that work in Morocco (and every other pavilion for that matter) are very much Disney employees...

What Is The Most Important Thing?

I almost always plan a trip to coincide with the International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot! :D (And usually in late September or October when the crowds are a bit smaller than usual)
