Online check-in even if I'm checking bags???

It's quicker. When you get to the airport all you have to do is print out your boarding passes and hand over your luggage. I was skeptical too, but I flew on Delta and it did seem that the people who were already checked in got through the lines quicker.

    Sheraton Vistana

We spent one night at the Sheraton Vistana in September. Very nice! We had a 2 bedroom villa. It was clean and had plenty of towels etc. I liked that the kitchen had a blender. I don't recall if it had a patio or balcony, but we did have a nice few of one of the ponds out the windows. We were...

    HELPTuskerHouseBuffet

We'll be there next Friday (Sept. 19th). I might or might not try to do a walk-in on the Sunday the 14th for lunch, depending on where we are when we get hungry. The 14th and 19th are our AK days on the itinerary. Of course everything is subject to change. :)

I hate the Free Dining Plan

I don't know about all this as far as giving things away etc. I have a coworker who stays at the Value resorts. She didn't do free dining this year because she said it would have cost her more $ than not doing it. She was able to get a great rate for the All Star hotel of her choice (not sure...

I hate the Free Dining Plan

There is a whole section of reviews and restaurant menus etc. Just poke around.

I hate the Free Dining Plan

I only wish my DH could get his vacation time planned 180 days in advance. LOL! That being said, I did not know about Free Dining, and we aren't staying onsite so couldn't use it anyway. Still, I was able to get our APRs done about 4-8 weeks ago (took a few phone calls etc). I didn't get...

    HELPTuskerHouseBuffet

I saw that review too. I thought about making an ADR for lunch or dinner, but I don't want to get us so tied up with ADRs that we don't enjoy the parks or the other food venues too. I am glad we have the breakfast ADR though.

    best character meal?

We are doing a breakfast at Tusker House with Donald, Mickey, and friends and a lunch at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends (actually have 2 of those booked). I think Cinderella's is very pricey, and I think Chef Mickey's is pretty pricey too. So I went with these.

Keep the reservation. I have a picky 2 year old and an ADR for breakfast on our last park day. Since you have such a large group there is no way you are going to replace that APR in AK easily. I'm sure your group will be fine.

Adding a person to an ADR

Glad you asked this too. All of our ADRs are for 3 people, but there is a chance that a 4th person will join us on any day, and I won't know until the last minute because my mother and MIL refuse to make commitments to us.

You know Your Trip is Fast Approaching When..

    1. When you go grocery shopping, you buy stuff that won't result in "leftovers", and you limit your perishables so nothing is rotting in your fridge while you are gone. 2. You spend more time on Disney boards than working, or at least that's what your coworkers think. 4. You are more concerned...

"I don't want to go!!!"- 2 year old meltdown

They need more episodes of "Wiggles" too, as well as some non-Disney shows, but yeah I hear you. We have TiVo so we can watch dd's favorite shows all the time. When she liked Wiggles a lot, we would end up watching the same 10-12 over and over again. I still haven't seen any with the new guy.

A few obesrvations from a GREAT TRIP!

Well we will have a 2 year old dd with us, so I'm not so worried about the Adult Only stuff or whatever. It is a shame though. Probably for our NEXT trip dd will be old enough to have a babysitter or do one of the kids clubs things, and by then Pleasure Island will be gone.
