Just a minor update: had the time to chat up some R&S engineers working on SM and heard that the laughing place (the jumping/turtle pushin' water in particular) is getting a lot of TLC this round of refurbs...also heard some muttering of corporate trying to push the project to open 2-3 days...

Well to reign it back into topic, I was just at TSMM on the 18th and Mr. Spell was indeed working! He scrolled the message "Toy Story Midway Mania" though that was about it. No talking. Despite the one scrolling phrase, it was good to see his screen lit again!

Interesting! There was filming going on at Hollywood Studios yesterday too. Right next to BATB theater. I wonder if they're related in some form...

I happened to work that night and Phil was there for a Board of Directors shindig. (I know I signed up just to make this post but I've been following the website for 3 years now and everytime I had a comment, someone already said it so I just kept it to myself :cool:)
