Never meant there weren’t. I just meant the pavilion needs to promote tourism (which is spurred on by showcasing history, culture, food, modern cities, and wild landscapes). Not just The Lion King book report ride.

All of the country videos are tourism board advertisements. Go watch the brand new Canada Far and Wide video. It’s literally an advertisement for visiting, with the voices of the Schitt’s Creek parents.

We also just watched it on D+. It was great. Loved the animation. Even shed a tear or two lol.

Wakanda belongs in DHS. Frankly, they will just keep it in DCA, most likely.

The point of the pavilions is to be a living Tourism board. They are all set up for “Visit Us” campaigns, videos, rides, etc. I am all for an African pavilion, but it needs to connect Americans to future travel.

Does WDI employ storytellers anymore? Or are they mostly rock designers and civil engineers? If WDI hasn’t come up with an original thought in decades (?) that may mean that they no longer seek original artistic talent. Not saying they can’t, but if that’s not the job, it might not be their...

You fly around. Probably a near miss while taxiing and of course flying through a frozen mountain or something.

Star Tours could easily become a Wakanda ride. You walk through the town (inside, outside and even a Savanna-clay based gift shop to hide their technology), then board one of their ships with Iron Heart piloting and Shuri on the screen giving pre-flight advice.

Hope it was an Aero. I’ve had many Subaru WRX, of which the 9-2x was a cousin.

I wish they offered a way to design a car on the MDE app, then it uploads to your band. I could spend hours designing a car. (Yes, I realize there’s a post ride kiosk in the Chevy car show gallery).
