Zoogether VS. Other Low-Ranked Attractions

Which attraction(s) would you choose over Zoogether?

  • Fast & Furious: Supercharged

  • Mission: Space

  • Swiss Family Treehouse

  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends (Ride)

  • Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along

  • Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival

  • Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

  • Those Little Dragon Coasters at Fun Fairs

  • None of the Above. Zootopia is better than all listed.

Of the options you see here... Which of these other poorly-received attractions (based on general consensus) do you like MORE than Zoogether?

I think Mission: Space (meaning the original aka "More Intense" version, plus with updated graphics now), Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, and Swiss Family Treehouse are all worthwhile experiences, even if they're not top-tier. I would even consider Mission: Space (again, the version with the actual effect that the whole ride is premised on) to be a "must-do at least once" rather than entirely skippable.

I voted for everything but the sing along because that’s just too geared toward toddlers and I’ll never sit down to watch it.

But I truly believe that Better Zoogether is worse than everything else listed.

Worse than Supercharged is actually insane, I’m sorry. Zoogether isn’t good, but Supercharged is genuinely one of the worst attractions in theme park history and is far and away the worst operation attraction at any Disney or Universal park. It’s so bad that even a Universal Parks executive publicly called it a mistake. Do not let recency bias make you forget how god awful Supercharged is.

I do not have “regency bias” (???), I regularly post criticism for both resorts.

F&F has a (albeit short) simulated high speed chase. That alone makes it ever so slightly more entertaining than Better Zoogether for me, which has absolutely nothing of value to offer. Just brainrot slop. A ride being an incoherent mess is less offensive to me than a show being an incoherent mess.

Note: I am not saying F&F is good. I am saying Better Zoogether is worse than theme park nerds are giving it credit for.

Me over here trying to figure out which park has an attraction called “those little dragons…” 🤣

I’ll take either Nemo Ride, the treehouse, or mission space over zootopia.

I still had some things to appreciate about F&F like the queue and the pre-shows becoming an entertaining comedy sketch.

I didn't enjoy anything at all. Like. At. All. About zoogether. F&F is at least entertainingly bad in a humorous way.

That's another good point - the party scene in F&F is so awkward and bad that it's something you will remember and laugh about. The high speed chase is completely ridiculous and over way too quickly but it's at least something. With Zootopia I feel like I just stumbled into some obnoxious kid-targeted YouTube video. It's just standard obnoxious CGI kids show fodder, it just happens to be inside a world class theme park icon.

I won't know until October...but if Zoogether manages to be worse than Fast & Furious: Supercharged (or the Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along), I'll be impressed/astonished! Those are two of the most jaw-droppingly bad attractions in recent decades. I agree that F&F's awfulness is so profound that it almost transcends to that elusive so-bad-it's-good territory.

As someone who's hated Mission: Space since the year it opened, I must say it looks like a masterpiece compared to those two. But there's an important distinction between whiffing on a giant high-budget project vs. some little movie or walkthrough. Expectations are set at a certain level, and if there's a big gap between that and what you end up getting, you feel cheated. So M:S would be my third worst of these, but I guess I can still imagine Zoogether being worse, if it's as lousy as you say.

The rest of the options here are not even bad, just "lesser" attractions. As an east coast 80s kid who misses the submarines, I love that I can still go out west and ride them (or for that matter, that The Living Seas still stands in some form), even if it means putting up with the usual epidemic of IP slop.

Just visited WDW and I was not impressed by the show. The effects worked which was pretty much the same as before but the story and flow of the show could have/ should have been better. At least it's something going on at AK that gives you something to do.

This is an ironic poll, guys. Its only not ironic if you actually do love Zoogether. Which, if you do, its okay to have wrong opinions.

(That was a joke.)

(Or was it?)

Basically Finding Nemo at WDW.

BATB sing-along...nope.
Pixar Short film festival...I can watch all of those on D+
Swiss Family Treehouse...but THE STAIRS!!! At least Zootopia offers a seat and AC.
Finding Nemo Subs is a nope because of my claustrophobia

And Mission Space was how I discovered my claustrophobia. 🙃

Never mind. I didn't realize Zoogether was the name of the Tough to Be a Bug replacement.
As to some of these other "poorly rated attractions": Missioin:Space is one of the best theme park attractions at WDW. (Talking about the Orange version). The launch is superb, the "weightlessness" is very good The story is good. I like it A Lot.
I still don't recognize the Fast and Furious thingie and the little dragons. Are those Universal thingees? I have never been to Universal and have No desire to go.

Problem is that it can be well done, but if people can't ride it because too many people are getting sick or claustrophobic, then it's a problem.

Compare it to FOP, which is popular. Both are well done; not everyone can ride FOP (including myself). But it obviously makes less of the population motion sick nor does it seem to trigger claustrophobia. Same with Guardians. Sure, some people can't do it, but it's an extremely well done attraction that most people can.

People don't want to do rides that are uncomfortable. Mission: Space is truly uncomfortable for a lot of people. For me personally, Orange will set off a migraine, and I was on green one time when it broke and that was how I found out I'm claustrophobic (my level 2 autistic brother was calmer than I was...).

Even with the subs at Disneyland (which IDK if that should even be considered "low rated" as they're fairly popular), those of us who are claustrophobic likely aren't doing them, but it's not making people motion sick.
