Zoo Awarded $49,875 State Grant
SANFORD, Fl. (Orlando Business Journal) -- The Central Florida Zoological Park in Sanford was awarded a $49,875 science museum grant from the Florida Department of State. This is the tenth year the zoo has re-ceived operational funding from the department's Division of Cultural Affairs. The funds will support various aspects of the zoo's operations, including environmental education. The zoo provides programs for more than 50,000 children annually.
