Me and my friends are planned trip to Disney World march month. We have booked our flights tickets and every thing got ready. I found everyone had been to Disney world and have knowledge regarding best restaurants. One of my is a diabetic patient and he is on medication. This is our first trip to Disney. Please suggest some restaurants which serve D-friendly food. Thanks in advance.

The cheapest flights

Most places mentioned, especially the sit down locations will have diabetic options. I know the wave has a sugar free dessert plate that is featured all the time. Just ask the server and they can accommodate you.

Whit! You can't be serious. 20 visits without a QS at CHH. Thats got to be a Disney record. You'll kick yourself for what you've been missing out on all these trips.Enjoy.Remember to go upstairs and get a table by a window overlooking HM.;)
Same here.. I had been to wdw around 20 times, and we finally did it last time. I don't get it. Crappy chicken nuggets, at the least. Maybe it is only good if you eat shrimp?

Sanaa is my personal favorite secret restaurant. It was not busy at all when we went and it overlooks the savannah at Kidani. The food was excellent as well. We will be returning (hopefully) in September.

Yep this is my answer! I love Sanaa. The food is excellent. The service was great. And you can't beat that open savannah view from the window seats. And hardly ever anyone there. Even if there was a wait for your table - you can explore the savannah and fire (so cool) while you wait! We usually head there after we eat anyway!

On my last trip, a CM recommended the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs. There was only about a 30 minute wait (Saturday before Thanksgiving), but the food was really excellent, and they had live music! Whatever bread/corn rolls they serve before the meal was one of the great surprises of our trip.

That whole resort is awesome. It is the most retouching place to stay and the food is really top notch. Wish we had plans to go back.

We decided the POLY had the best food overall in terms of QS or TS. Captain Cooks was just overall good QS with variety for any meal, Kona we liked for breakfast and Ohanas for dinner. My favorite restaurant to date for ethnic food is Sanaa and my favorite buffet is Cape May followed by Biergarten. I ate twice at Beaches & Cream this last visit, the bacon burger is just the bomb..and I like the chinese food at Epcot both the restaurant and the fast food place... and really good fish and steak at Flying Fish..and the ambiance at Narcisscos was fantastic but they really need to figure out how to serve the food at hotter than room temp..finally that fish & chip place over in Britain at Epcot...my favorite meal while I watch illuminations.. WOW I am really on a foodie fantasy trip now!:p

If you are a fan of fried chicken, the Giddyup and Go at the Trails End takeout at Fort Wilderness is a great deal. 10 pieces of finger-licking good chicken with fries, coleslaw and biscuits for under $25. If you like baked beans, ask for the cowboy beans. They aren't on the menu as sides anymore, but they will still substitute them for one of the sides. It is definitely enough to feed a family of four. You can eat it on the picnic tables on the porch outside, or take it down by the beach and eat it while you are watching the MK fireworks and the EWP!

Totally agree with Boatwrights, we stayed there last year, were tired and hungry and thought we'd give it a try and man it was great, FANTASTIC Pecan Pie. But i've got to give some love to Earl of Sandwich, never had anything bad there.

While I don't agree that Starring Rolls is overlooked for it's breakfast items and cupcakes, I think that as far as lunch food it's a hidden gem! We got a sandwich there in Sept and it was so yummy! Definitely a nice break from the burgers and chicken nuggets for sure!!

I'm never up early enough for Breakfast so Starring Rolls lunch is really all I have experienced. Great sandwich's and sushi plus good coffee.
