Good Morning Everyone. Now as most of you know on this site,I love food. I don't eat to live,I live to eat.But everyone thats been to Disney knows about the favourite TS and QS restaurants, like Le Cellier or Cali Grill,or CHH and WPE. But do you have a lesser known restaurant that blows you away? One that doesn't get much hype,a favourite secret place that you think deserves recognition? Example, My QS goes to " Cookes of Dublin " I was pleasantly surprised this year when we popped in for lunch,it was quiet, plenty of seats, air conditioned, but the food was gorgeous and piping hot.We were there in July and had walked past many times. Now my TS award goes to " Boatwrights " at PORS.The first time we ate there was way back in 2008 and it wasn't that good but Ive noticed the reviews over the past year have been very positive,so this year, without an ADR,we gave it a shot.Well the food was really good, well presented, laid back atmosphere, all in all,a great improvement. So what are your secret favourite QS and TS restaurants at WDW.?;)

Just had a wee peek at the menu ( always curious ) looks good. I see they do Snow crab legs. Always wanted to try them but scared to ask the female server if she had Snow crab legs ? Incase she replied " No,it's just the way I walk "

It could be worse, I ordered an orange almond salad in a restaurant once, my friend with a nut allergy, said "I'll have the same but please hold my nuts." 30 years later and We still laugh at that one whenever we have dinner.

Captain's Grille. My runner ups are Oliivia's Cafe and Boatwrights.

I went to all 3 on my trip. Captain's Grille is has been one of my favorite table services for a long time.

Olivia's wasn't that busy when I was there, but the food was great including the buttermilk chicken. I tried Boatwrights after hearing how good it was and they were right.

The Cabana Bar and Grill back by the pool at the Dolphin. It's all casual and cushioned outdoor seating, surrounded by fabric drapes and overhangs, skirting a trendy bar in the center of the space. It is a fantastic place to relax, and they have a very good bar. Their mixed drinks and draft selections change often, as does their dining menu, which makes it one of the more unique and affordable seasonal dining experiences in Disney World.

I've talked the place up before, but it really is that good. The food is far better than any of the similarly priced options in the Epcot resort area, including perennial favorites like the ESPN Club and Beaches and Cream, and I think it's even better than the higher priced, more crowded Captain's Grille. Since it is essentially a lounge, and therefor does not take reservations (nor the dining plan), it is usually pretty empty. We have been there many times, and have never had a problem getting a seat right up at the bar, any time of day. There is ample lounge seating, including tables, couches and all manner of other comfortable options, that is almost always empty, as well. I could be wrong, but I think there might even be a hammock or two. If you know the place, you could see how I would assume that is the case.

It is without a doubt one of my favorite spots for lunch in all of Disney.

By the way, here is the current menu. Commence watering mouth.

We love doing lunch at Tangeriene Cafe and Kringla Bakeri at Epcot. Neither are ever very crowded and the food has always been wonderful.

I think Aftertoon Tea at the Grand Floridian is one of the best kept secrets at WDW. Great food, great atmosphere, and just a lovely experience all around.

You must have found the secret time to go, because it's usually crowded when I'm there! LOL One time I went right when they opened, alone as my family was at the American Adventure having burgers, and it was delightful. Not crowded at all!

Love the combo shawarma platter. :)

As far as sit down restaurants go, I have to say how nice Kimonos (Walt Disney World Swan) was. The atmosphere was great and the prices were reasonable. And, it was not crowded! We'd definatley go back!

Sanaa is probably the main one these days. Not to be a total hipster -- "I liked it before it was cool!" :) -- but I feel like a lot of the places my family used to consider "our" places (e.g. Boma, or even Le Cellier back in the day) that we ate at on our trips have become WAY more popular in the past 10 - 15 years, so I don't feel like we have too many secret places these days. I guess that's my terrible burden to bear, being a trendsetter and all. ;)
