I was wondering about this for sometime. Awhile back on the forums they mentioned that the Yakoose at the Adventures club was gone..Now this was a looong while back probably for refurbishment or something. But, I haven't heard of anything at all about him. Is he back at the club or what?

I think he was having a few bad days when I was there in early June. He seemed to be randomly moving around a lot more than usual. I kinda got the impression from the cast that he was having "issues". (Though perhaps it was all part of an elaborate gag the cast was doing those nights)

I have one pic of Hathaway standing on the arms of the chair underneath the Yakoose (with a female Guest still sitting in the chair) holding a very long croquet mallet (or perhaps it was a polo mallet/club/stick/etc) preparing to whack the Yakoose "to reset him". :animwink: (I don't think he ever actually hit him)

I was at the AC last night, and Yakoose just randomly started talking for a few minutes before the rhythm ritual began.

HOOPLA!!!!!!

I love Yakoose and I especially love him when he has random outbursts, its adds to the craziness that is the AC. I wish they would make plush Yakooses or even Yakoose antenna toppers.

Yakoose rules!!!

When I was there back in April, he started talking, but his movements weren't happening. Just kind of froze up mid sentence, and obviously the CM operating him had no clue. All of the characters at the club started complimenting him on his ventriloquist act. :D

Actually, I believe that the Yakoose isn't a fully interactive animatronic/puppet like some of the other Club's residents. I think he just has a number of pre-programmed routines that are launched either by a timer or by a CM input. I've never actually seen the Yakoose interact.

I personally hate the Yakoose and it is rather obvious that the cast at AC has no love for it either. When it was gone for a short time I was really hoping that it would come back as an interactive CM controlled animatronic, like Babylonia or the masks, but alas it is still just an annoying automated animatronic that only seems to disrupt whatever the cast has going on in the salon.

Actually, he can be both. He has the controls to go manual and also has the pre-programmed sequences. However, none of the members want to go near that thing. They hate him too!

Could someone briefly sum up exactly what an Adventurers Club experience entails...May be difficult seeing as each "adventure" is different...I just am having a hard time grasping what kind of night life venue this is...I am pretty sure that AC and BET sound stage...(errr maybe one more, are the only ones I havent been too)
