Wyndham Lake Buena Vista & Downtown Disney Buses

If you stay at the Wyndham, can you walk across to Downtown Disney and take a bus to one of the hotels for a meal? Or do they not let you take the buses like that unless you stay onsite at their hotels. I'm not looking at going to the parks that way, just that I wondered if you could catch a bus to visit some of the Disney hotels for a meal or something.

Yes, you can hop on a bus at the Marketplace to head to one of the Disney hotels. We plan on doing just that during our stay at the Royal Plaza in a few weeks. Once heading to dinner at Fort Wilderness, the other to get back to our hotel after dinner at Sanaa. And friends are staying at Old Key West at the same time, so we might take the bus or boat to visit them one night.

Yes you can do it. I actually know some people that park at DTD and take the busses to the Ticket Center so they don't have to pay parking.

You can use any WDW bus, monorail, or boat for free, even if you are not staying in a resort. Have fun!
