This forum (and the other older Disney forms, for that matter) has always lived in a bizarro world where it’s unanimously agreed that everyone hates the newest additions. And when it’s proven that no, that’s not true, the response becomes “oh todays guests are shills/dumb/easy to please.”Is it actually returning, or are people just extremely pessimistic about the state of modern Disney? There's certainly no shortage of people/fans/"fans" willing to take outrageous leaps in logic based on the most minor of events.

Not to say there's no reason to be pessimistic, mind. But let's not pretend that there aren't huge numbers of Disney fans on this sites and others extremely focused on myopic grievances that fail to take into account the bigger picture, thus overexaggerating the flaws of the current era and dismissing other eras that were just as bad or worse in the process.
EDIT: Also, a sleeper hit for worst era to visit — the first 15 years. I would LOVE to see the original Disneyland in the flesh and all the attractions that are now lost in time, but in hindsight and with modern expectations, it was probably not the most enjoyable park.
