World of Motion?

it lists the World of Motion as a closed attraction. Is it closed for repairs, rehab, for good, or what? For all I know this question could be answered somewhere else, but I haven't found it yet. Thanks.

World Of Motion no longer exists... It became a new attraction: Test Track.

Was there a sid and marty park? i didnt think so. I miss the world of motion, they need to add some concept cars in that waiting area. Wonder what they did with all the stuff that used to be there? anyone remember the robot and bird show?

Yes, it was called the World of Sid and Marty Krofft. It opened on May 23rd 1976 in the Omni International complex in Atlanta, GA and closed less than a year later. I highly reccomend that you read up on their history at http://www.sp.uconn.edu/~wwwsfa/Weinst.html it is very interesting!

The link you provided came up dead but at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wa...WParksAndMoreFAQGrping#TPClosedAttractionsFAQ
they list it as ”discontinued”. Horizons on the other hand is listed as “closed until further notice” (<- Go figure)... World of motion has been gone for quite a while. I believe it's last year of operation was 1996.

Thank you... I'm quite tired of the Save Horizons, etc. posts. If Disney has closed & removed a ride.... it is NOT coming back (maybe at a different park or frankensteined into another ride), but it is NOT coming back in its original form.

wdw24557, get your stuff strait ......oiriginally it was journey into imagination...........they then overhauled thw ride leaving nothing of the original atraction and called it journey into your imagination......they did such a crappy job and there was such a demand for figment to be included more in the ride that they are going to overhaul it again and possibly do a good job this time. So my point is that theyre not bringing back journey into imagination.........and theyre not bringing back journey into your imagination b/c thats the current ride........how could they bring it back when its already there?Sorry if I sound like a now it all wdw24557, but lets face it I am
