Wishing I was there too. Just looking at the DisneyStore website and wishing I could easily just walk in to the hotel gift shop and snag a bag of Character Gummies:cat:

My awful Parents live exactly 1 mile from MK and every night it snows here they sent me pictures of the fireworks or a picture of their alligators in the lake by the house.. does that qualify as cruel and unusual punishment?

That's horrible torture!

I live in Central Florida and am a annual passholder. However, last year they added blackout dates to my pass--it used to be good 365 days a year. The blackout dates are two weeks around Christmas and two weeks in the Spring. Dad advised me not to worry about that or spend money on a higher tier pass to get those weeks back, because WDW, at those times, is crowded beyond belief or comfort, as those photos posted by another member showed. So I guess I'll just dine out those Saturdays I can't go, and I don't usually go to the theme parks Sunday-Friday anyway.

The weather here varies. It's usually hot, but somedays it has nicely cooled down and feels great. Today I started out wearing jeans, but by early afternoon had changed into shorts. We like getting cooler weather once in a while (but not so much cold weather). It gives us the opportunity to snuggle down under two or three blankets in bed and to wear our seldom-used sweatshirts. All of you stuck in the snow--why don't you move down here near Disney? Become an annual passholder and go as much as you want? I go so often that sometimes I actually get tired of the most magical place on Earth, and have to take a break for a few Saturdays. But I don't think I'll ever stop going to Disney altogether.

I've got a couple of good friends that just recently moved to Citrus Springs, FL, and I'm highly jealous of them. We've stayed with them twice in the last year, both times during the cooler weather season and it was heavenly. I think I could trade the humidity for the closeness of Disney, adn the warmer air in the Winter.
