Wine and Dine and the Parks

Hi all!
Me and my husband have our Honeymoon trip planned for November with our first day in the parks being the 7th. However we didn't realise that it's also the half marathon weekend.
Does anyone know how these running events affect the parks? We would love to be able to go to Magic Kingdom on the 7th but would this be really crowded/any areas closed off for the event?
If that's the case would there be any parks you recommend going to that may be less busy with the event (not sure where the runs take place)?
Any tips greatly appreciated!! ❤

For marathons it shouldn't impact your park time in terms of the race itself, they happen early in the morning, before parks open.

However, marathon weekends at disney are highly popular so it will affect you in terms of crowds. Parks are usually packed during marathons.

Other than that, marathons affect road closures, but unless you are renting a car it should not matter that much, just budget extra time for transportation.
