Will this years Candlelight Professional at Epcot be Dining Package only? With all of the strict this and that going on, you can’t realistically have a stand by line this year. The dining package crowd can walk right into the theatre and the seats can be set up to whatever the guidelines are at that point.

probably depends on how quickly restrictions are lifted. Lots of people are hoping social distancing is a thing of the past by then. Don't know that it will be the case.

Hopefully by November/December it's all back to the "new normal." New meaning the world has changed. Hopefully there will never be a second wave.

Ask yourself which Hollywood celebrity will want to be at the airflow focal point of a couple hundred potentially asymptomatic people...
The key to having the Candlelight Processional this year is the vaccine. If it is available by the end of October it will be held and everyone will want to go. If there is no vaccine or treatment then it won't.

Usually it takes a couple of years to come up with a vaccine and now they Are saying might not even find one. You could come up with something like the flu shot that you could get each year.

It's much more about the people on stage than the people in the crowd. Picture being in a choir with 400 other people all shoulder to shoulder. Or being in a 30 piece orchestra all side by side. It's just not gonna happen without a cure being readily available.

As things stand, I would be doubtful if it goes ahead.

That’s sad that they won’t be able to have this for two to three years 😭😢

Yep. A lot of band used to do meet and greets after a show, but I think those are all a thing of the past until a vaccine is found. No performer or celebrity guest is going to want to exposure to hundreds of unknown people where the transmission could sideline them for a month or longer. I expect the typical celebrity will be living in a bubble much longer than the rest of the world simply because they know the cost of getting sick for them is much greater than it is for most people in terms of missed revenue and opportunity.

It will be a hard two to three years until a vaccine is found, if ever. Very sad.
