CEC Entertainment needs to get buyout by other company. I know Chuck E. Cheese's is awesome for kids to eating pizzas, and playing games as
birthday parties. But it's almost getting bankruptcy due to COVID-19 pandemic. Back in mid 1990s, Disney used to deal with CEC to producing showtapes from 1994-1996 at Disney-MGM Studios, the showtapes will be filming at Walt Disney World. Sadly, there isn't any Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants around WDW like Pleasure Island (now as Downtown Disney then Disney Springs) back in 1990s. Now I think Disney will acquiring CEC Entertainment soon as possible
in the future.

Disney buying CEC would be like the Yankees buying a Double-A team. Disney is (at least) two leagues above CEC and I don't see this helping Disney's image/brand in any way. Additionally, didn't Disney already try this concept before?

This....nobody will buy CEC its a dying model being trumped by newer concepts. Regional park chains that at least might entertain the idea dont have the cash flow anyway.

So you have outdated information as CEC is no longer in bankruptcy, they emerged out of it at the beginning of the year. And have plans to expand outside of their standard model, including this summer they inked a deal with Krogers to sell their branded pizza in their stores.

So with all of that, no they aren't looking to be bought. And certainly Disney isn't looking to buy a regional pizza entertainment chain.
