Okay so don't flame me too much :ROFLOL:..Did you ever wonder who WDW was for? The adults or the kids? I can't wait to go back..I am counting the minutes, working on the spread sheets, planning and re-planning, I even got a credit card to pay for my dental surgery on Friday so i don't have to touch the "fund" money (we don't believe in credit cards, if we can't pay for it we don't need it), but who's gonna enjoy it more..my kids are 5 and 20 months and they don't know we are going..don't get me wrong, my daughter still talks about our last trip and we still listen to MNSSHP music EVERY DAY in the car and she says she wants to go back, but I caught myself today wondering about it...she also says she can't wait to go to beach in the same tone..lol..to me there is no comparison, but to her.....it seems that, I don't know..I don't know if I am explaining this right..she loves WDW and we even had a huge Tangled b-day party (lanterns hanging, braided hair hanging out of a tower, hand made banners to match the ones in the town and crowns with 5' long braided hair for all the girls), but she gets just as excited when Oomi-Zoomi come on the tv..lol....I buy all the movies bcuz I want them..so do you ever feel that you are more into than your kids? I know I know, that sounds silly, she's 5.....but just something I was thinking and if I can't post it on here then :zipit:

WDW is for anyone who wants to experience Magic, to be brought back to their childhood, to have fun, and smile, to make memories that will last a lifetime!

It is for single people, married people, kids and grandparents, for old and young, black and white and all in between, for anyone who is ready to get away from the "Real World" for a while and just have fun!

For people who want to do everything or for people who want to take it slow..you can dream and learn, get a fright or an adrenaline rush and cry tears of joy over seeing your child hug Mickey Mouse or their favorite character!

So many people complain about this and that, the cost,no new attractions, too many meet and greets and not enough thrill rides..but soo many more people love it for what it is, what it has been and for what it will be..

I loved it as a child, and when it was just me and my husband, and as a mommy..

My child loves it as much as I do..though SpongeBob is her fave now..;)..whether you love it more..who cares..it is not set to one certain type..it is for everyone to enjoy..any age, with kids or without!..

I think it is the BEST!...:D

Thats the beauty of WDW, it can be for anyone. I loved it as a kid, teenager, adult and now a parent. I have no real doubts that I will love it as a grandparent if Im so lucky. There is nothing like experiencing your kids, experiencing Disney. That wonder and amazement that they have is absolutely priceless.

Seriously, WDW is for everyone. That's the amazing thing about Disney--they can appeal to all ages. WDW is for those who need escape from the crap we have to put up with in our regular day-to-day lives.

I mention this Circus quote (in the best sense possible), "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and children of all ages"; pretty much says it all.

It can be for anyone, but it's definitely good for people with an imagination. Doesn't hurt to be a kid or kid at heart either.

It is for any one who has a child's heart and is willing to let it run free. Whenever I,m at Disney, especially the Magic Kingdom, I feel like a kid again and I have no outside cares.

My exact feelings. I started going at the age of 36 (1978) and never looked back. We introduced our kids to Disney, now adults, they go with their girlfriends regularly. My wife and I will be there in December.

Walt said he wanted a place where kids and adults would both have a good time. Disney World has something for absolutely everyone. It is for absolutely everyone.

Not true! It is for those who are willing to propritize their wants and to work and save for those wants.

Well, I am in the middle class and can afford to go. However, 50% of the US would not be able to afford to go once every 2 years. If you break down the cheapest trip you could take for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), you are still looking at $2000. $1000 for tix, $700 for hotel/camping or whatever, $300 for travel and food. If you think you can do it for much less, let me know.

Do you know how many Americans cannot afford that? It is not a matter of prioritizing. It is a matter of eating and putting shelter over some families' heads. I have a neighbor that went. They put the entire trip on their credit card. Now the trip cost almost twice as much because they cannot get it paid off.

At first, Disney was for me, as a kid.... then I became a Mom, then Disney was for MY kids... then kids got older (son is 22) now, its for me REMEMERING and reliving things I did with my kids.... Disney is for anyone who wants to remember a less stressful time, relive a memory or make new memories, so in answer to your question.... Disney is for everyone!!!! :sohappy:
