This report will be somewhat unique. Will I be at Disney? No. Will there be a live TR tho? Yes! Confused? Fret not. Ill explain...
My wife C, took her first solo trip ever to WDW less than 2 weeks ago. She stayed at Yacht and Beach Club. She returned on April 29th which was 12 days ago (if my math is correct). She was very nervous to travel solo. I wasnt able to go due to work so she was all on her lonesome.
After she arrived, cleaned the room and unpacked, she called me to say she was still feeling nervous. I assured it would be ok and she was gonna have fun! She got a shower and then headed over to Bellevue Lounge at Boardwalk to get her favorite drink, the Orange Blossom Manhattan
Its in a plastic cup becuase thir dishwasher had broke (#RiffRaff).
She finished and then had another. Thats when she called me to say she was feeling a bit more relaxed and heading over to the studios. She got a 3rd drink to go! She is by no means a lush, she was just nervous. And hey, when its day 1 of your Disney trip, let 'er rip!
Soon after she arrived to the Studios and rode ToT and she called me to say that she was having a blast! From that point of the trip, she had so much fun for the next 9 days. Her original trip was only 3 days at YC but she wound up extending it to 9 days! Every 3 days she got sad to come home and extended it lol! I was so.hqppy she was having fun.
Fast forward to a few days ago...
She had been home appx one week and was telling me all the stories and talking about how she didnt realize how much fun a solo trip could be. She also mentioned how they were dropping a new annual pass Holder magnet for toy story that she really wanted.
So we hopped online, saw an AMAZING price for WL that was 8 days out and booked her solo trip part 2!
I jokingly said to her, "this a @Tuvalu level move youre making"! She absolutely agreed +
She headed out today at 430 am and arrived shortly before noon
Room wasnt ready so there was only one place to go!!
Geyser Point! She ordered and old fashion. Josh (bartender) was there. He is the "Mike from Baseline Taphouse" of Geyser Point. He wears a bandana so its easy to spot him. He is a great bartender and always fun to chat with.
And of course, she ordered the turkey sandwich
So, we have a very quick bounce back trip, at Wilderness Lodge and first meal is the turkey sandwich. Hence this TR title! Lol. Only thing missing is the quiet pool, which im sure is on the itinerary for this trip.
