Studios is carried by Rise, Tower and Slinky to the finish line. Studios Florida is the weakest Universal park and definitely needs something using the modern design philosophy of Universal Creative. Bring on Pokémon.

I say bring on a ghostbusters ride.

Why does USF just keep getting dud after dud after dud? IOA’s additions of Hogwarts, Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s have all been excellent additions with the exception of Kong which many people seem to distain. All while USF has gotten Jimmy Fallon, Supercharged, Villain-Con, Escape from Gringotts, lackluster Dreamworks land remodel and Minion Mayhem. Transformers was the only good addition imo. All this on top of other duds throughout the years such as Simpsons and the Disaster remodel.

Is it just because they’re creating new rides that fit solely within the already made studio buildings that have been there since 1990 which landlocked the new attractions that they’re putting in? This wasn’t the case with Gringotts which was entirely new but unfortunately I always hear the ride is subpar. I really hope the park just gets some new and creative ride additions because management has done more damage repeatedly to the park year after year.

There have been multiple instances of USF receiving attractions at the behest of corporate, with Creative admitting at least one of them (F&F) was a bad idea. They especially enjoy meddling with that park for some reason.

Most of IOA's more recent attractions have been Potter, which is hard to mess up because there are people who won't allow them to, and a roller coaster, which is hard to mess up because.... it's a roller coaster. Kong isn't bad -- at least when they're operating it like they're meant to -- but it also isn't what it should have been. There really wasn't enough space there to do the IP justice, but they were never going to anyway, insisting on adapting the Hollywood tram tour with a few added bells & whistles instead of giving us a full-fledged dark ride. Hence the middling reviews.

what is you’re opinion of escape from Gringotts? I’ve never been on it but I don’t hear great things

I don't think it's a bad ride but it has poor pacing and all of the action is on screens. Essentially every scene consists of you stopping to watch something happen on a screen.

In regards to Kong I disagree with the notion that there wasn’t enough space to do a better ride. That sub area of the park is 2.5 acres. Taking away the guest pathway and simply taking in the area of the ride itself is basically the size of the show building that used to hold Kong in Universal and now houses Mummy. They just cheaper out and copied over a tram tour experience as you mentioned instead of actually making a dark ride for the ape.

If you expand the show building, that means removing the outdoor section and its impressive building facade. Sacrifices would have to be made either way.

I would need to take Dramamine if I'm about to ride attractions from US Florida or at least alternate between screen ride and rollercoaster or dark ride.
Now I understand why so many of you choose Disney over Universal or other parks. It's not just the nostalgia but that Disney has rides you can ride.

Easily Universal Studios Florida.

Revenge of the Mummy
Transformers
ET Adventure
Gringotts
Men In Black

Vs.

Rise of the Resistance
Runaway Railway
Tower of Terror

The rest in both parks is very ‘meh’.
I think both parks are very weak and 2 of the weakest of ALL of Universal and Disneys parks. (Yes, soon I think Disney Adventure World could become a better park than DHS, and I think Uni Studios Singapore is already stronger than USF.)

I’m very interested to see all the new attractions planned for USF in the next decade.

I don't have a motion sickness problem. I can ride the most thrilling rollercoasters but it really depends on the ride. At Disney, I can ride Star Tours but if I would ride other screen rides back to back after that then it would make me feel queasy

Facts, USF and DHS are easily the weakest of ALL the Disney and Universal parks in the world.

Universal Studios Hollywood? Walt Disney Studios?
Yes, Universal Studios Hollywood is absolutely better than Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood Studios. Walt Disney Studios (soon to be Disney Adventure World) right now may not be better currently, but with the new additions coming in the next year or so will definitely make it better than USF and DHS, yes.
