Which day is better for crowds?

I am planning a trip for beginning of December. I'm trying to decide if we should do MK on the 1st or 2nd. We are not doing the Xmas party at MK. MK closes at 430 on the 2nd so I'm not sure which morning would be less crowded.

Go with the earliest close day. That will be the least appealing day to other visitors.

Single day visitors will likely not choose the really early close day.
Also base ticket visitors will likely not choose that day either.
If you have park hopper then I'd say do MK that day and then hop to another park.

I'd do the park that day (regardless of hopper status) if you can go early and stay until close and won't be too sad about missing fireworks. It's so hard to find a low crowd day in the MK. This will be as close as it gets.

I would go on the 2nd, be there before rope drop to maximize your time.

I've been at MK on (before) Party Nights. The 3-6 pm window has always worked well.
