As you may recall, I do not like cupcakes. I especially do not like Disney cupcakes. Nonetheless, I felt compelled to order the Butterfinger cupcake just to say I had tried it.

I gave Hubby the bigger half.
I can safely say that I still do not like cupcakes. Especially Disney cupcakes.
My irrational Disney rule is "No cupcakes."

At least muffins don't taste like bootleg regular cake.

Dinner. Thank goodness we have a car!
Parking @ the Yacht Club, we were on time. The kids must have really hoofed it, as they arrived at Coral Reef at 7:17 for a 7:15 ADR.

While I would never recommend filling up on bread, if you're going to do it - this is the place!

I don't like their cupcakes either. WAAAAY too much icing (and I like icing but not that much).

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I might have done a little bit of shopping today.
My second (and last) Dooney of the trip:

I refused to buy these in white, but swore I would snap one up if they ever came out in black or another dark colour. :joyfull:

Hubby says he thinks I forgot to post this:

My new HM D & B. @MissM - there were only two types of bags @MK on Monday - great big huge ones. This letter carrier wasn't even on the shelves. Just a few out back, and the CM said no more of any style coming in.
Although I would have liked more selection, this is the one I was probably going to get anyway, so time to stop complaining. :)
Glad you were able to get one!! I think the updated letter carriers like yours are nice. The corners make them roomier and they can stand up on their own. The Smith bag is gorgeous but WAY too big and then of course the tote is even bigger!! The Haunted Mansion style keeps coming in and then selling out...so it's hard to know what to expect. At least you got yours!!

edit: I just saw your Flower & Garden satchel. That's such a cute style!! Congrats on BOTH your Disney Dooneys!!

Sorry, was going to tag you in the Flower & Garden post.

I now have 4 Dooneys. That's enough.
Until next year's trip. :hilarious:

I have...*coughs* more... But I've been collecting them for a few years now. And several were purchased second hand/outlet/trade so I didn't necessarily pay full price for all of them.

But....yeah. It's an addiction!! :p :D

I did a merchandise recap already, so here's the ride recap:
Arrived at DHS, rode RnRC using FP+
And then again, using Single Rider. Finally got Dude Looks Like a Lady!

From there, it was time to use our ToT FP's.

Sadly, I couldn't talk Hubby into a second ride. :(

Next up, GMR.
Two teenaged "Princesses" cut in line at the point that the queue entered the building from the outside. You know me, I am incredibly easy going, but this kind of ship really, really irks me!
I knew what they were up to, and I just kept willing them to wait 30 more seconds, at which point I could have effectively blocked them. As it was, they cut in about 6 people ahead of me.
I stewed ... a full minute, and then Let it Go.
By the time we reached the switchbacks in the theatre, the little Darlings had made it all the way to the front and were in the group getting on the next ride vehicle. They managed to bypass a solid 20-25 minute wait. Good for them.

Of course, we had the gangster scene. Do they even do the other scene any more?!

After GMR, we had lunch.
Hubby then suggested One Man's Dream or VotLM; so we did both!

(It was interesting to hear the story behind the above pic from our KTTK tour guide)

I strongly suspect that this is the last time I will be able to enjoy OMD, so I was happy that people applauded at the end of the movie.

These are my favourite themed water fountains anywhere in the parks:

I am, of course, a huge fan of Art-Deco's symmetry.

(Yeah, that's a bathroom floor!)

Look at this beautiful ceiling. In a shop. Who does that? Disney does - that's who!

And because I've been stopping to take so many pics, this is my most common view of Hubby and the kids:

It was our plan to come back to the resort to swim, but Mother Nature had other ideas.
No worries, a nap is always a good Plan B.
