Every lawn without sprinklers is dead in my neighborhood because of the lack of rain.
It's been a pretty dry summer here. There were a couple days in a row not too long ago where it rained a good chunk, but that's been about all I can remember.

Sanaa's desserts looked pretty good although we didn't try them. You could just put the Zebra Domes in the fridge for breakfast the next morning. They're great with coffee.
I usually need a break between dinner and a dessert, so I don't really ever get it at sit down places unless we ate there for that very reason.

I was going to be taking a bunch of domes back to the room as well. Need something to snack on in the room.

I think I am the only person who does not like Zebra Domes. They had an unexpected, unwelcome boozey taste. :depressed:
I remember doing the math a while back on the recipe for these and it came out to about a shot of booze per Zebra Dome. Of course that is not taking into account that cooking the booze boils away most the the alcohol. But the taste would still be there.

I don't like coffee, so Kahlua would not be a favorite of mine either. I don't care for Tiramisu so Zebra Domes would be right up there with it in my book.

Actually, yesterday, our first full day home, was the hottest day of the summer so far - and last night was the hottest overnight temp. Add in the the thunderstorm today ... and it's just like Florida! :p
When I first walked outside this morning, I immediately though of Florida. Humid as Florida, slightly cooler than it was when we visited in June, and sunny as can be. Luckily the classrooms were airconditioned today.

By the sound of things you must have brought the Florida weather, heat, humidity and rain, back in your oversized suitcases.
