Awesome, but I would be terrified.

Like my dad always said - the contract goes to the lowest bidder.

Yes but we are talking China. When something goes wrong, they don't ask questions or for an explanation they just kill ya on the spot.

Chicago is trying hard to land the StarWars museum that would likely go between Soldier Field and McCormick Place in DTChicago. Right now the Science and Industry is running a StarWars exhibit along with the long running D23 Disney exhibit.

Remembering we were the first to loose a bid a few years ago for the Olympics.
Wonder if it will be anything like the Star Wars exhibit they had at the London aquarium.

Every area that is inhabited I guess could be a disaster and devastating. I was in WDW when the earthquake hit the Oakland/San Fran area during the world series. I still can see the pancake of the double decker expressway with cars in the middle. Start to imagine an earthquakes and tornadoes with buildings like Wilderness Lodge, Tower of Terror. Locally if a quake struck under the Sears or Hancock building.

I do what I can, I avoid urban expressways that have a long history of multiple deadly accidents a day, I don't walk the Riverwalk subtrails unless I'm with a group and my dog, I lock my doors, I stay out of deadly neighborhoods when I visit Chicago and travel through, you get the idea. After using due diligence the rest is in His Hands.

I'm not enthusiastically religious, if anything the opposite but I'm with you, you do what can you and the rest is up to fate. Or a higher power, if that's your thing.

Or Cthulhu or whatever. It's all good. :joyfull:

No idea. I really don't follow StarWars anything. News media is all over it at the moment. Lucas has a condo very close to the sight.

Wonder what will be built and opened first, museum or a DHS expansion of StarWars. Museum to open 2018.
Bet it will be nice, that is a major hub area for DTChicago for tourists, sports and conventions.

Might I suggest something along the lines of this?

An air horn is a very effective way to wake up the dead. However, the cans only have a limited number of blasts per can. I think that @JenniferS also needs a backup plan as well. I have an idea. JenniferS lives in Canada, so we can't send one of the US Army buglers to her house; but, she can download Reveille from the internet, and pump up the volume LOUD on speakers, just outside her son's bedroom! :D

I've dropped Italy from my list. I just don't find Disney can do Italian, very disappointing because if Tony's could hire a Chef that could create good Italian food it would go over so well in the MK, I feel the same way about Epcot's Italian offerings. In April we ate at Via Napoli's which I loved and was disappointed this trip on every level but how nice the server was, though far from attentive. For a $60 lunch for 2 I expect more. The food dropped in quality, unbussed tables around us and staff that seemed to be darting everywhere and crazed.

Oops, I copied the wrong quote above, Gabe. I'll get the right one in a minute and put my response with it. Just ignore this post; we can't delete posts off the Chit Chat forum.

I belong to an extremist sect that believes he finished it and hid it in a cave on Tom Sawyer Island.
It's hidden deep inside the fabled Disney Vault.
