It's just a supply chain issue and they'll be back.

There were some issues as BeaverTails are a trademarked business and apparently Disney forgot about this, not likely they will ever return.

I believe that Beaver Tails went directly on the rear end of Beavers and still do.

Rather heavy-handed with the trademark, though that may be a Canadian thing. The laws differ in the United States, and it is very common for a business to lose value of their trademark as the name becomes synonymous with a product or service. Some companies even encourage it. Those are just puff pastry that are called elephant ears in some places. The Canadian beaver tails are a fried dough. The ones in the picture are baked.
