Our little family is just starting to think about taking our next trip to WDW!!! We will go at some point in 2015 before my boy turns three. We are 2 adults and (will be) 4 1/2 - 5 year old daughter and under three year old son. Since the kiddies aren't in school yet, we can go at any time.

We went last September, and while it was slow-ish, boy was it hot.

When is your favorite time to visit the world and why???

Loved September. It was hot, but not quite as bad as the summer months. Halloween/Fall decorations!:D
I enjoyed early June as well before schools let out. Hot also, but not too much by way of crowds.

We always go in October and it has been a great halloween/birthday tradition. Plus I'm a little obsessed with the Food & Wine Festival! It may be warm during the day, but it is always nice and cool at Epcot during the evening.

My favorite times are end of October (for Halloween and MNSSHP) and mid-April (for Epcot's Flower & Garden festival - it's just so pretty.)

If I were taking little ones, I'd go in April. But any time that isn't summer or a holiday will be a great time. :)

Always loved going in early Feb .. cool to mild weather, low crowds, excellent. But then kids came along, and now we can only go along with the other hordes! Boooooo!!! :)

If I had little ones and no school schedule to plan around, I would pick the week before Thanksgiving week (low crowds, holiday decorations/ shows/ events), great weather or the week after Thanksgiving week for the same reasons except now Christmas is everywhere throughout the resort.

We usually try to go at two times a year. February/March time, we like it at that time a bit slower. However our favorite time to go is September/October time frame. You have the Wine & Food Festival and Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party, plus the run. This year we are going for the first time ever in May, just happens to be a Star Wars Weekend. So we're looking forward to see how this goes.

We went the first week of May back in 2010, and it was honestly one of the best times we ever went. The only downside is it was our first trip as a couple, we were younger and with my wife (then gf) in college we decided to stay off property. So a little less magic but schools were still in, it was beautiful but not summer heat in FL. Overall, crowds were just normal and that meant ride after ride after ride!

Because I have a child in elementary school, my favorite time is at the end of May.
We've only done it once (his first time), two years ago but I have been to WDW in July (with a Brazilian tour group), in December and in February.
with a kid in school, the options are the summer, Spring Break (late March/early April in GA), Thanksgiving week and Christmas Break.

Late May was AWESOME! We didn't get a lot of long lines, it was warm enough to enjoy the pool and the water parks but not too hot, we got to do 90% of what we wanted and we even had a chance to come back to the hotel, relax and go back out.
We got there on a Sunday and started hitting the parks on Memorial Day.

Next year we will either go Thanksgiving Week due to how close it is to my son's birthday or late May again.

Love September for the fall decorations & the crowds. Also, loved December for all the Christmas decorations & weather is perfect. Would not visit between Thanksgiving & Christmas again though, because it was just way too much to deal with trying to get shopping, wrapping, baking, decorating, etc. done!!!
