Pre-Trip When Brave princess + a wish + a country band = A trip to Disneyworld

Please hear my tale...

Once upon a time, there was a brave little princess who unfortunately was fighting an ugly villain named cancer. She loved Disney princesses and country music, and both helped her go through her ordeal. One day last April, she told her mama that she had a dream: meet her favorite country band, named Lady Antebellum. The poor mother didn't know what to do and decided to ask the Make-A-Wish fairies for help. The fairies were surprised, because 3 years olds usually have different dreams, but they promised to help the best they could. News came that the band was coming to town in late October, and everyone was very hopeful. Unfortunately, things are sometimes very twisted and complicated in fairyland, and due to their organization being a little messy, and the fairy queen being a little strict with rules, the wish fell through (not forever they said, but for some remote time in the future... maybe). Since the brave family was going to move back to their European land at some point and things might take more time than they had left in the USA, the fairies decided that the brave princess should have another wish, and decided to send her to a magical land called Disneyworld instead. Which made everyone happy anyway, because who wouldn't want to go?
So this story does have a happy ending, as the brave little princess and her parents will be headed to the World on March 14th! :)

Oh, I can see you wondering now... But how about her primary wish? How sad it didn't come true...:(
But here's the second happy ending to my tale: Always expect the unexpected... and what fairies can't give you, a good soul just might...

How did you determine which days to go to each park? Because you have reservations? We have no set schedule, no reservations, our reveal is this Sunday but I do not think anything was scheduled. I am trying to stay flexible, I figure the weather and the activities each night at the Village would determine which park on which day. I am such a planner though, makes it hard to "relax".

Reservations determined everything for us. We were lucky enough to know our dates 5 months ahead of time so I was able to make some reservations.
The only big unknown is when - even if - we are going to be at Magic kingdom until late to see the fireworks. Our original plan fell through when we found out we would only have 3 day tickets to WDW. But that's OK, even if we miss them it won't be the end of the world!

You can find the list of the daily village activities on the "give kids the world" website and see what your wish child really wouldn't want to miss. Guess it also depends on his/her age, and whether you have other kids or not. And of course how tired everyone is.
Just make sure to have a list of must dos for each park and go from there. Although we have plans, we're still flexible and may add/remove things from the list - after all, it's our daughter's vacation, she's the boss! ;)

So! A little Monday update.

The Make a Wish volunteers came yesterday with all the documents we need... so we're all set. They said that I was probably the most prepared mom they ever had to work with, lol. :p
So we're good. Except... we're not feeling so fine. We're all sick. Miranda caught a virus that turned into a crazy sinus infection last week, so she would breathe by the mouth, which made her cough... straight in our faces (in spite of teaching her to cover her cough ).
Should be solved by Saturday (departure day), but we are probably going to be exhausted (as hubby and I can't sleep too good...). Which means we may very well take a full day off next week, if needed. We'll see! It doesn't matter that much since we just want to have fun, and will, whatever comes our way (this bad cough won't keep us from that, believe me!).

Right now our plan is this one:
- Sunday : Universal (both parks, mainly attractions aimed at our little one)
- Monday: MK. Includes lunch at the castle!
- Tuesday : half day at SeaWorld, then stay at the Give kids the world village to rest and enjoy their amenities. Dinner at 1900 park Fare (Grand Floridian). We may skip SeaWorld if we are too exhausted.
- Wednesday: AK, maybe hop to MK at some point. Lunch ADR at Tusker House.
- Thursday: HS and Epcot, maybe hop to MK later if we have enough energy (not sure about that one, lol). Breakfast ADR at Hollywood and Vine.

:inlove:

Well, we're two days away... and still under the weather, and my husband and I are terribly sleep deprived. :(
So we are probably going to take Sunday off completely, meaning no trip to Universal :arghh: But we have to be full of energy for WDW, which is, after all, the reason why we are going on this trip! So much for the "cherry on the cake"... but I know my daughter can have lots of fun at the Give Kids the World village, so it shouldn't be a boring day at all. ;)
I'll keep you updated about this!
