What's your favorite dining near WDW and Universal with somewhat healthy options? maybe offsite?

Title mostly says what I'm looking for. I am especially looking for places that offer decent produce of some kind, which appears to be lacking from many restaurants these days, especially the WDW ones. Something other than basic salad (like Caesar salad.) (Fun salads are welcome.)

Bonus if it has decent gluten-free choices, like rice.

Bonus if entrees are below $40.

Triple bonus if they offer real fruit desserts.

Anyone tried Bosphorus Turkish? The menu looks like it might have some promising options.

Not very exciting, but we door dashed some burrito bowls from Chipotle, as an alternative to the AoA quick service. It was a nice change after a few days of park food.

Fresco’s near Universal is 10/10 fantastic. Some of the best Italian you’d have anywhere.

Sushi Yama is between Epic and the rest of Universal. Fantastic all-you-can-eat sushi with a very affordable lunch price.

Fortuna Bakery has a few locations throughout Orlando. Really good empanadas.

I think I know what you mean. One trip we got carry out from Panda Express, which is okay, but not normally a place I'd rave about. On that day though, it was a nice alternative to WDW food.

We like Bosphorus, I've only been to the one in Winter Park, it is worth trying. Everything we've ever had there has been great, we usually try something different each time. I've never had their desserts.

If you go to Winter Park, there is an Indian fusion restaurant named Tabla, that is incredible and is in price range, and fits most of your requests, again, never had their desserts. They have other locations also, but I've only been to the one in Winter Park. Tabla is my personal top choice. https://www.tablacuisine.com/locations/winterpark/

There is also a Mediterranean restaurant there as well called AVA you may want to check into, we don't go there as often but it also always on point with everything we've gotten. Never had their desserts either.

If you aren't familiar with Winter Park, it's a nice area for shopping and dining, has a rail station for convenience, and is great for taking pictures. Friday/Saturday evenings typically have some form of entertainment in the park. It is a family area and reminds me of Europe where everyone gathers in the park and relaxes. People tend to dress up a little and promenade from one end of Park Avenue to the other. https://www.visitorlando.com/things-to-do/beyond-theme-parks/neighborhoods/winter-park/ There is a link to the restaurants from this page also.
