I mentioning these two rumors because WDW1974 mentioned about TOT getting Guardians of the Galaxy overlay.

Poster Belowthesurface mentioned that Disney is looking at demolishing Universe of Energy and getting replaced an IP. He or she is claiming Disney is tossing 3 IPS around with one with them being used including Guardians of the Galaxy.

OMG, this is so terrifying. There is no one that can operate the parks in the way that Disney does! This is why Disney has the number one theme parks in the entire world.

I wish Disney would sell their hotels and timeshares to a third party and just focus on the parks. Disney should sell all of the Deluxe Resorts to the Four Seasons and the Moderate and Value properties to the Hilton to be managed by the Hampton Inn chain.

I do not see WDW doing anything with ToT. It is too much of an iconic ride and it is still a favorite of a vast majority that go. It fits 100% with the theme of the park. UoE is a different story. I could see that happening, but it just doesn't fit for Epcot. I have a feeling there will be a Marvel land happening at DHS eventually. They are simply making a killing off it.

I've read on another site that the TOT rumor is a done deal, and that Imagineers have already been touring the Tower and planning the changes. I think this applies to the DCA version, but I could imagine that they could bring it to Florida pretty easily.

Would make sense to do this to Universe of Energy. It barely has a line most of the time and is tucked away in a corner. It's nowhere near to being a must do ride for most people. Now, I don't agree Guardians of the Galaxy should be in Future World, but there's no denying it would bring more people to that area of the park.

It's too bad they can't bring Iron Man into Universe of Energy because of the Universal-Marvel contract. And I'm not talking about a ride so to speak, but more along the lines of a 'Stark Expo' and thus being able to tie it to the Epcot theme.

The Tower of Terror one is the worst. It sounds like what they did to Journey into Imagination back in 1999-retheming a well-loved ride into a lame movie tie-in!
