We went for New Years last year! We were there the 27th-1st. On the 30th, we did MK. They do everything they do on the actual New Year’s Eve on the 30th too. Dance parties throughout the park and awesome fireworks show. On the 31st we did Epcot. There are parties at different countries around the world showcase and a big fireworks show too. We had a blast! Just be ready for it to be crowded!

If you want a special paid event, on top of the celebrations at the Parks, many resorts have exclusive ticketed parties (theyre usually very pricy, so it depends on your budget). One that looks great this year is the Masquerade party at the rooftop restaurant of what will be the newly-opened Riviera Resort. I also know many Disney springs restaurants have their own event, I think the Edison last year had a big NYE party as well.

I've always heard Epcot is the place to be on New Years Eve. Each pavilion in the World Showcase has a party going on.

Tips: Get into the park early because it will get crowded. Get a dining reservation for dinner to get away from the crowds for a bit.
