I'm gonna have to disagree, if you knew Lil' Buford, you'd know that he prefers old classic rides instead of newer rides. I really doubt when he wrote that message, that he wanted to get flamed. Don't make incorrect assumptions about people that you don't even know ;)

BTW, Sorry if that was considered mean, I just wanted him to know that before he jumps to conclusions

Kevin's right here. If you click on "search" under Buford's name you'll see that he is not your average bear. ;)

I have a hard time when it comes to the thought of any
of the MK attractions not being there....
but if I had to pick one it would be Tom Sawyers Island

Epcot: Body Wars:hurl:

MGM: ???

AK:???

Man, I don't understand why everyone hates Jungle Cruise. I don't even understand why people say that it even needs updating. That's just me though. Others may not agree with my list below....

MK:
Main Street (get rid of about 50 of those thinly-veiled-excuse-to-suck-money-out-of-your-wallet overpriced preppie clothing stores and put back some of the interesting places like the magic shop and penny arcade)
Tomorrowland stage (what goes on there and when?)
Indy Speedway (never liked it, and it ruins the theming of the area)
Toontown fair (sorry, not even the kid in me is interested)

Epcot:
Innoventions (I have no use for this place, and it really doesn't have anything special. When we go in there, it's almost like a race to get out)
Test Track (replace with World of Motion)
Food Rocks (replace with Kitchen Cabaret)
Wonders of Life (replace with Horizons)
JIYI (replace with the first damn Figment ride NOW!)

MGM:
Indy Stunt Show (replace with something I might go to)

AK:
Camp Minnie Mickey (see Toontown Fair above)

Lots of people wouldn't mind if some classics went - I wonder if they have young kids? (My young kids loved Jungle Cruise, IASW, Speedway, etc.) Those rides still have magic for the 2-6 year old set.

My picks:

Magic Kingdom - Snow White (what exactly is the purpose of that ride?)

Animal Kingdom - Um... I think I'd rather they add than subtract. However, a complete overhaul of Chester and Hester's "themed as a cheap park" area would be nice. (The area sure didn't work for me.)

Epcot - Mexico boat ride; the movie (ad for Norway?) at the end of Maelstrom; the current China movie (it's going away! Hurray!); Innoventions; Universe of Energy; Living Seas (in its current state, it has potential); the boats on the lagoon; the Canada movie (hopelessly dated); The Land; JIYI (in its current state); maybe Body Wars. Um... as I think about it, project Gemini sounds like a good idea...

MGM - Indy Jones show. Other than that, I'm pretty pleased with this park.

Geez, as I think about it, I REALLY don't like a lot of the Epcot attractions.

MK: its a small world
snow white adventures
astro orbiter/magic carpets of aladdin (astro orbiter has nice view, yet is too short. but aladdin's camels spit water at you which is nice on hot days, but it's a hassle to get around when you want to go to jungle cruise or pirates)
tomorrow indy speedway

they need to add more to adventureland, but there is no room because of jungle cruise:mad:

Epcot: food rocks
circle of life
living seas (bring the ride back!)
canada movie
heck take away every movie and update it, make it 3d, just make it better for the youngins

MGM: beauty and the beast
hmm i guess i love every aspect of mgm:king:

AK: triceratop spin
rafikis planet watch!!! TAKE IT AWAY NOW, put in a mythical beasts coaster. i think it'd be cool to have a mythical beasts coaster. have hydras, minotaurs, centaurs, and the like

Don't get offended everyone....but some of your choices have me freaking out! Get rid of Snow White, Tom Sawyer, CBJ, jungle cruise, WOL, The Land?????? What is wrong with Snow White and Jungle cruise?? Yes they are old but these rides are like rites of passage. Jungle Cruise may be corny and old, but it's one of the few that Walt designed and is inspired by his true life adventure documentaries. I don't mind seeing alot of the new rides ago esp. that dino-rama crap. I wouldn't mind jungle cruise being updated with some modern technology, but please leave it alone.
I can imagine if they did get rid of some of these rides many of you would be up and arms. So lets stop this thread, its making me scared. I can imagine some disney exec reading this and saying "yes lets get rid of Tom Sawyer and make it into another gift shop!" Yikes! Ok now i know i'm going to have nightmares tonight
