I agree with you totally.......we have to have calm rides also, that's what we mean by a totally family area!!! You need those also to make Disney stay as great as it is!!!!!!!!

As a huge fan of the Disney Villians I would love to see a disney Villains ride. However due to me spending a lot of thiking time on this I did not just come up with a ride, I actually came up with a whole new park idea. Guests would enter the monorail to go to this new park. The PA system would say the usual annoucments and pretend to take guests to the Magic Kingdom. However during the monorail ride the guests would hear strange noises over the PA system and then hear a Disney Villian annouce that this is thier park now. Probably some villian like Hades or even Jafar, just stating that they have capture Magic Kingdom. When guests enter the pakr they will notice it is almost like Magic Kingdom only darker and not so happy. Once the have enter into the park, standing right in front of them, where Cinderellas castle should be, is a huge drak castle. This castle belongs to Maleficent, it would be based on her forbidden mountian castle from the Sleeping Beauty movie. Rides would take on a more thrill ride theming, though not too much as it would lose the Disney spirit. Rides like Test Track, even rides like Buzz Lightyear, Goofys Barnstormer, Dinosaur and of course sedated rides for all the younger adventurers. Each ride could be based on a different villian, for examlpe Ursula would have a water ride, Jafar could have a Rollercoaster in the form of a snake. However the main attraction of this park would be at the end of the night. The park could have a show like fantasmic, a show that people are left in amazement. A show that shows Mickey, Alladin etc capture back the park from the Villians. This is only a very rough idea for a park but I love it. I know it wont happen but I can only dream of it.

Also if I had to get rid of one ride in Magic Kingdom, I would like to see Hall of Presidents re-made into a show for the world, not just America.
