What is the temperature like around XMAS

Some advise please,

We will be going to to Disney for 3 weeks from 13th December and as we have never been at this time of the year (normally Oct or early Nov) what is the weather like. Also temperature, ie can you still walk around in shorts and T-shirts.

WDW is december feels like the forcast here in new england during may :

"Today we are calling for isolated thundershowers with an occasional peek of sunshine. Midday we could be looking at about 1 -2 inches of snow. Things look to be calming down around 4PM although the winds could reach gusts up to 40MPH with a severe storm warning possible around 7PM. Some gusts strong enough to knock down power lines and trees. And we are lucky enough to have clear weather and temps about 80 degrees overnight great for a midnight under the stars swim". - thats almost like the forecasts in NE lol.

No but seriously, I've been to wdw twice in december and both times the majority of the vacation was 70 - 73ish. but there were a couple days of 80's and at night it would get chilly (be sure to bring a sweatshirt) and there was one day we got a tornado warning in the AM. But other than that it is my favorite time to visit. You get so caught up with all the goings - on that you dont have time to stress about the weather
