What Is The Shrek "Castle" Looking Like Right Now?

I wish! I agree that the IOAcentral ones weren't all that great. They are too close to the construction and none of the pics show a far away shot.

I'll take some pictures this weekend, but to tell you the truth, the building doesn't look much more than a soundstage with some posters on it and a wall around it.

I just went today and they've pretty much go it done they are going to start doing some annual passholder previews this weekend, June 6-9. They've got the front of the line open so you can look at it and some of the posters are pretty good jabs at Disney. I wish I would've gotten some photos.

what did the posters look like or say that took jabs at Disney?

From pictures I've seen, one makes fun of the Tiki Room. It says something like, "Visit the Enchanted TICK Room next to Parasiteland...This show will really get under your skin". It has a picture of a wooden totem pole made from Shrek and Donkey. Another one pokes fun at Dumbo...it says something like "You will hurl on the Teacups after flying DonKo" (the flying Donkey) and has a picture of Donkey in the same pose as the Dumbo Elephants have on the ride.

They aren't really mean, but actually kind of 'cute'. It's obvious though who they are poking fun at. However, I could envision these same signs being at a Disney ride, like say, the Muppets.

The outside seems to be simply some painted grey rocks along the queue level (with the rest of the building keeping its now beige colored soundstage look) with armor shields along the side. To be honest, the outside of the Shrek 4D in Hollywood seems neater in that it actually looks like a castle. Then again, I've only seen pictures of it so it may be more than that :)

Also, from what someone said that's been inside, apparently the actual theater is the EXACT one that the Hitchcock show was in with no changes to its size or dimensions made. Apparently nothing has changed beyond a new screen, a paint job and, obviously, the new motion based seating.

One additional bit of info for those interested, apparently the new motion based seating is having some problems in the now opened Hollywood version of Shrek 4D with some of them not working at all during the show and the effects not always aligning with whats happening on the screen. Also, it seems that the seats are unable to handle "overweight guests" with the seats "breaking" after their initial movement in some cases. Little quirks like this should be fixed rather soon, I'd imagine. Its still in a kind of test and adjust phase, unless it would require all new seating mechanisms to fix the problem, then its a real problem.
