4 years ago I was leaving the MK late at night on our last day or our trip with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and two of my grand daughters.
At the time because of my health conditions I figured it was my last ever trip to Disney. They were playing the old time song "Let me call you Sweetheart", one of my favorite songs form the past and my material grandma's favorite song. I was a little choked up and will never forget what a great feeling it was.
By some quirk of fate and luck I was able to go back two years later and on our last night as we exited the park with my two kids, their spouses, and our 5 grand kids they were playing another of my favorite oldies "Cruising down the River". Probably means nothing to most people but it was so special to me. Two fond memories that are unique and left me with a great feeling. Those moments just said to me life is good.
Believe it or not I am going back June 11th thru 20th this year. Lucky me.
I’m pretty sure that this is the best post I have ever read on this or any other message board. Ever. I hope you and your family have the best vacation of your lives in a couple weeks.

The boat horns... the clomping of horse hooves on Main Street and Fort Wilderness... Jiminy Cricket over the speakers... the classic "When You Wish Upon A Star" instrumental music... The original MSEP music from way back when... all of the music they play on Main Street... the dog howl in front of Haunted Mansion!!!!

Oops, I already forgot to break it down. Sorry. Here it goes.

Favorite Ride/Attraction Audio: It's a tie between The Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan.
Favorite Ambiance Music: Main Street USA.
Favorite Environment Sound: Boat horns.
Your Personal Favorite thing to say in WDW: "It's only our first day here!"

Attraction audio: It's hard to top "Blood on the Saddle" from the Country Bears. But I'd say, the entire track of Splash Mountain is tops.
Background Music: This one is Very hard. I love the background music in The Wilderness Lodge. The background in Main Street USA is very good, as is the entrance medley at Epcot. The background in Adventureland is also very good.
Other Sounds: The combo you can catch from the Ferry Boat whistles, the Walt Disney World Railroad and the Liberty Square Riverboat, with the occasional baying hound from the Haunted Mansion in the background.
Favorite thing to say: "I love this place!"

And of course....the one, the only Jack Wagner instructing us to all "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor, mantenganse alejado de los puertas".

Did i forget the Electrical Parade theme? That one....I can't even EXPLAIN it when I hear it. Of course, they took it away, but.....that song, especially when you are THERE watching the electrical parade go by.

Also my Spaceship Earth track is the Kronkite one, with Tomorrow's Child at the end, and the top of the ball DARK so you feel like you are really outside looking at stars. That was one of the most impressive moments of my life, and I was a grown adult.
