read everything you can. Pay attention to permits, look for weird cargo loads on the highways, ask a lot of indirect questions to cast members, read this forum like it's the bible (kinda kidding, kinda not), pay attention in the parks for signs of construction, Learn as much as you can about construction methods, engineering exc. Work for the mouse if you can for a few years particularly in a position where you can get around in the parks easily (custodian for example), Look at projects from a big picture perspective so you can learn how all of the different little parts come together.

Something like that.

Go to the Ale House off of 535 near Disney Springs. Sit at the third seat to the left of the TV playing football and ask for Matt as your bartender. Order these drinks in this order: Whiskey Sour, Tequila Sunrise, Gin and Tonic, and a Moscow Mule. Then, proceed to Drink the beverages *completely* in this order: Gin and Tonic, Whiskey Sour, Moscow Mule, and Tequila Sunrise. After these beverages, go to the Men’s restroom and sit in the stall between two locked stalls. Tap your foot three times and you will hear a word come from each stall. Knock on the stall that answers with the word associated with Epcot. When they ask for a password, respond with the password that corresponds with the day of the week.
Monday- Jungle Book: Alive, but Tragic
Tuesday- Figment Deserves Better
Wednesday- Diet Epcot
Thursday- Lightspeed to Endor
Friday- I Only Drink at the Nomad Lounge
Saturday- It’s a Small world
Sunday- The Backside of Water
Then exit the stall, and enter the handicap stall at the end. Someone will follow you in and lock the door. And that my friends is how you get...
Oh, you wanted sources? Sorry, can’t help you on that one.

dont feel obligated tho
Just look up Bioreconstruct on Twitter. That is the main source for construction updates on different projects. It's tricky because you have to be one of the first members here to re-post the image - tweet to the forums in order to get the most likes for it. Keep a close eye on Bireconstruct's updates and get on it early if they have a update.

Well you can start by not sharing everything any contacts share with you.

And you have to ask yourself, why would anybody share stuff with you? There needs to be an exchange. Run a website, or make videos, or write a specialised blog. Then interesting people will find you, because they are interested in what you do. Failing that, work in a related field and then meet people, for example on the creative side be a designer, sound engineer, architect. The world is small, you can network yourself in these fields towards TWDC, which is not a closed group, but hires and fires and contracts permanently. You can find other people in these fields who might share your interests or appreciate your input or support.

Finding an insider source so you can pose as interesting on a fan site, well...not really gonna happen. (Maybe if you befriend a Central Florida professor of theme park studies, as one of our insiders here did!)

Last time I accidentally tapped my feet in a bathroom stall I got hit on by lurking closeted gay Republican politicians...

Marry someone who works in the legal dept. My sources arent giving me cool info about rides and construction, but all the "What the ****" issues they deal with.

If we're thinking of the same professor, they don't have a lot of insider information, unfortunately 😂

They do talk with a lot of people, and had a decent amount in the past, but I'm not 100% sure they keep up with contemporary rumors. Though I was only a student of them at one point, so my contact may have been more professional than Disney news sharing.

My personal experience with sources: everyone wants to talk about what they're doing. NDAs prevent that. But information outside of NDAs, or information that slips casually in conversation, can be very enlightening sometimes. Of course, you need to be at a place where people will casually talk to you first.
