Hey kids:

I did a quick check, and I think something has happened to the weatherbug camera on top of the Swan/Dolphin. It's showing an old nighttime February picture.

Waaaaa!!! This was my only live glimpse at the magic. Oh, why oh why won't disney activate their old webcams??? They were so magical!

Anyway... i'm just gonna sit here and cry my way through the day... *sigh*

im looking at that camera everyday just to see what happening at WDW. however mine a date from april '06. its just pitch black with the odd lights.

OMG, i didnt know there were web cams for DisneyWorld. whats the link to the site? i wanna bookmark it for when they decide to update them. ^_^

Yeah, that's the one that doesn't work. It shows an April 2nd picture in the middle of the night, and won't run a time lapse either. Sucky.

i look at it at different times of the day mainly afternoons and evenings here but its morning time and so on in florida. ive looked at it and there have been grey clouds gathering and then when i refresh the page the clouds have moved across or dissapeared. i think its about a half hour delay normally.

its been stuck on 2nd april '06 for about 3-4 days now i was gonna ask on this site if anyone knew why -is any work getting done to swan/dolphin?

Someone mentioned the other webcams... I want to think I remember reading here that WDW took down the other cameras because of concern that the competition was using them to guage attendance levels.

I've heard that too, however I think that's bogus, because if "the Competition" wants to know how many people are in a park, all they have to do is send a scout over!

Any news is good news!

Did anyone ever hear why this webcam was stopped? It's still stuck, and I don't know what I will do if I can't get a fresh look at the World everyday... sniff, I can only pretend so long that these pictures are current glimpses into that most magical spot in North America... sniffle... sniffle...

So has anyone heard about what has happened to this webcam!?!

it was fixed and was running pics as normal but then it went back to being at night.

is there work or something being done at the swan or dolphin?

A thought I've had a least a hundred times!

I know it's kinda sneaky and underhanded, but this is a thought I've had at least a hundred times before... If I were more technologically inclined, I wouldn't even think twice about it.

Geesh, is this even possible?? Can anyone just set up a remote camera, it would be easy enough to get a little solar panel to keep it powered, but how to broadcast??

Has anyone ever done this?
