WDW's race track should be rebuilt.

If the Junior Autopia is built in Epcot. THen the speedway track in the Magic Kingdom should be rebuilt into something like rocket rods on the ground. There would still be 4 lanes but each lane would race each other sustaining the racing feeling and maybe some other things could be done to get the feeling the racers are in control.

I think they should get rid of the speedway altogether. Well not get rid of the speedway, but take the tracks off and make them regular gocarts.

I think they should make an Autopia there. Since Disney does have a friendship with the Stock Car Racing, thye could move the actual mini raceway to Test Track for kids who can't go on Test Track.

I go with the "get rid of the whole thing" and put something good there. If they want to havea race track type thing there, then build something futuristic, this ride is getting old, even though I have to admit I always go for a ride everytime I'm at the Kingdom...:animwink:

Great idea! Those tracks are kinda stupid. You're not driving the car, you're deciding how fast it goes.

But I suppose it's to prevent people from ramming each other off the track.

I still maintain the belief that the Speedway should be totaly removed and they should level Mickey's Toontown Fair, and put in a quality Toontown like at DL. Except for Cosmic Rays across the way from the speedway, it doesn't look like it's in Tommorowland.

I think they should just replace the cars with electric cars, theme the area to an inter-galactic highway through a sci-fi ish city, maybe guard bars could be gotten ride of using AGV technology, although I guess you would still get a bit of a jerk but it would be much more smooth if the steering wheel just locked and you were slowly guided back into place. It would atleast prevent bumping and such at the end, and look much better.
