WDW (Former?) Cynics Anonymous

Honestly, I'm on the younger end for these forums in terms of age and one of my favorite attractions is one of the most hated (Primeval Whirl I love you, can we get a #BringBackWhirl in chat?), so I was never TOO cynical in terms of Disney.

Was never really too jazzed about what was being announced either outside of Monsters Inc lately though. That changed after my recent trip with @Solaris Knight to both WDW/Universal and I realized that these places are made to enjoy with company, have fun together, so even wonky attractions (River Journey, DINOSAUR) can be enjoyed as long as you have friends to enjoy them with.

So combining that with things I feel strongly about? Like the yeti? Monsters Inc? Villains? SSE?! Imagination?! Things I've heard so much about in my grapevine that I'm shocked materialized?! Even at the cost of my beloved MV3D?! It makes me more excited to go back to the parks and make more memories with my best friend.

I'm very optimistic about the future of WDW and WDI. Hope to see DLR one day too, maybe next D23?

Just waiting for them to add a certain scary alien in the park.

It'll happen.

Please?

I’m looking forward to all of it. I’m going to think about all the cool changes when I visit again.

Just after I catch the show at the Main Street Theatre, then park hop over to EPCOT to ride Mary Poppins, and finally take a break at the 3 Story Festival Pavilion to catch Harmonius. It’s a great view.

In seriousness, Disney doesn’t necessarily have and idea problem. We may or may not like the idea. But they do offer up more.

To me Disney has an execution problem. Because it is driven solely by ROI

But yes, sometimes the two align and you get SWGE. We get something like a Star Wars (but not quite), and Disney gets to make millions by selling low quality light sabres and a cocktail with blue dye.
