Hi,

I have visited WDW almost a dozen times over the years the last time in April 2013, visited DLP last summer and just got back from DLR a couple of days ago, and it’s time for me to rank the eight parks. I will rank them as they existed when I was there last, and I will let the reader know the rides I will not take in each park. These rides do not factor into my ranking. Here goes. It goes without saying that these are my subjective ratings. YMMV

8 Animal Kingdom.

Rides I won't ride: Everest

I love the theming in this park and enjoy walking around and seeing the sights. However, I only love one attraction in the park, and while Kali River Rapids is one of my favourites, it isn’t enough to place this park any higher than #8. Here is to hoping that Avatar Land improves the park.

Rides I won't Ride: Rock ‘n Roller Coaster.

The next three are real close for me, I ended up ranking them by the best attraction in the park. I’ve never seen the appeal of TSMM, It’s a cool ride, but is not fantastic. So for me the best ride in the park is the Tower of Terror, and while DHS has the best version, it isn’t that much better than the Anaheim or Paris version. The only other must do for me is the GMR.

Sorry totally disagree with DL and ToT. It freaking sucks at DL. So I read your list with that in the back of my mind. You can't differentiate a masterpiece (wdw version) to rushed wanna be (DL). Good day sir

I think that Ratatouille: The Adventure might just be the best attraction in any of the Disney Parks I have visited. Crushes’ Coaster is also a unique experience. I really was surprised by CineMagique. This park gets little love, but it might be the hidden gem in all these parks.

Now look, Disneyland and California adventure are great! But it's like saying magic kingdom versions of potc is just as good at DL version.

California Screaming

I really like the whole Cars Land theming. It’s probably the best theming in all of the parks, and Radiator Springs Racers is a really good ride. My surprise hit is Grizzly River Run. I love Kali in AK, but this is soooo much better. Throw in Paradise Pier, and World of Color, and it closely edges out DHS and DS.

4 Disneyland Park Paris

Rides I won't ride: Indiana Jones and the temple of Peril

I think that the only thing limiting this park from rating higher for me is the the three parks that are ahead of it. The park is great, I loved Phantom Manor and especially BTMRR, which is the best of all versions. IASM is very similar to the DL version. In general, this park evokes DL more than MK.

I do agree with this. To far down the list IMHO

#3 EPCOT

Rides I will not do: Mission Space

E
pcot is a mixed bag for me. I just love WS with it's ability to give you a flavour of the many countries around the lagoon, but the current state of FW has me skipping it almost entirely on my EPCOT mornings. I'll do a few attractions, Soarin' or Test Track, maybe Spaceship Earth of Living with the Land, but as soon as 11 am hits I am in WS.

2 Magic Kingdom.

Rides I do not do: Space Mountain, ( I know I am getting old).

I just love this place, lots of fantastic rides, but...... with the exception of maybe Splash Mountain, my #1 park its just better

1 Disneyland Park (Anaheim)

Rides I do not do: Space Mountain.

I could mention the rides that are better in DL, ( PotC, IASW, Peter Pan, among others)
Then there are the things that are not in MK (Matterhorn, Subs, Mr. Toad)
Then there is the abundance of live entertainment that is lacking in MK
Then there is the Main Street vehicles
Then there are the better snack options ( hand dipped corn dogs)
IMO better maintenance and cleanliness in DL
Less walking in DL over MK
New Orleans Square was marvellous.
and most of all, one feels the presence of Walt Everywhere.

IMO it behooves every WDW fan to make the trip out to Anaheim to see the original.
