Whomever is in charge of maintenance at WL, and whomever is in charge of WL in general needs to be fired. First the AC outage, now this.

Also, the reports on other forums seem to indicate that the “being moved to SSR & OKW” is not automatic and not everyone is getting moved.

They’re giving them bottled water so they can use and flush the toilets by the pool. That’s the Disney Difference!

I’ll guarantee none of the GMs at Walt Disney World know the basic legalities of operating a hotel. Why should they?

@wdwmagic , from where I reported this from, the only people who were offered relocation were those on cash bookings. And not everyone accepted.

Those who booked through DVC got points back for the one night.

Some guests who checked in yesterday were moved to Copper Creek, with a gift card.

You move them to regular rooms then and eat the cost of making them happy. That people could be using kitchens without water is more reason, not less, to get them out of the rooms.

I suspect that most would expect them to set it within 24 hours, so are only likely to accept WL, GF or Poly as an alternative. And there are 180 rooms to move people from.
