Thanks, Mousetainment!
I really don't know what is going on, maybe because I've never watched those films? Anyway, thank for your help, but I'm hopeless  ,
It's simple.

1. Get Disney+, even just for one month and then...

2. Binge the following movies (arranged in chronological order in the Marvel Cinematic Universe)...
  • Captain America: The First Avenger (takes place during WWII)
  • Captain Marvel (takes place in 1995)
  • Iron Man (takes place in 2010)
  • Iron Man 2 (takes place after Iron Man)
  • The Incredible Hulk (time unspecified, pre-Avengers)
  • Thor (takes place six months before Avengers)
  • The Avengers (takes place in 2012)
  • Iron Man 3 (takes place six months after The Avengers)
  • Thor: Dark World (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron)
  • Captain America: Winter Soldier (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (sometime in 2014)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (after Guardians)
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron (takes place in 2015)
  • Ant-Man (takes place in 2015)
  • Captain America: Civil War (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War)
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming (post-Civil War, pre-Infinity War)
  • Doctor Strange (takes place in 2016)
  • Black Panther (takes place in 2017)
  • Thor: Ragnarok (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War)
  • Avengers: Infinity War (takes place in 2017)
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (ambiguous, but fits nicely between IW and Endgame)
  • Avengers: Endgame (starts in 2017, finishes in 2022)
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home (post-Endgame)
3. Now you're ready for WandaVision.

4. Profit!

Warning: This trailer spoils the identity of one of supporting actors who was only previously guessed at. It also spoils another plot element I won't even categorize because doing so would itself be a spoiler.

The name of Agnes is close enough to Agatha Harkness, a witch in the comics who trains Wanda. And SWORD is now a confirmed thing in the MCU (Monica's pendant). All previously guessed at by the Internet, but now seemingly confirmed.

Has it been confirmed if WandaVision will have an episode the week of the inauguration? Wondering if they'll skip that week to avoid competing with election news headlines?

Disney+ already skews more International subscriber heavy. You are thinking too much along the old Network model.

❓ The inauguration is on a Wednesday and WandaVision will release on the Friday before and after - why would the inauguration impact it?
Plus, it's streaming. You can see it in the wee hours of Friday, or on Sunday night, or do a double feature the following Friday.

9 episodes sounds great. I was worried it was going to be kind of rushed at 6 episodes - the first two will be needed to set up the wacky premise and then potential conflict - but 9 should be nicely fleshed out.

I wonder if other Marvel series will be longer too as it seemed like 6 might be a standard. If Falcon/Winter Soldier is 9 it would lead right up to Loki just like WandaVision ends the week before Falcon

Hopefully the confirm the episode run times soon. Really curious to see if they all 1 hour long as promised. Or they ended up going the Mando route and its a varied run time.

I’m guessing varied run time to fit some of the sitcom styles. There is a rumor going around that the first two episodes will be available on January 15th, so maybe the first two are each 30 minutes and then they will start with 1 hour episodes.
