With all the negativity enveloping the forums as of late, I thought it was time we did a purely positive thread about our favorite place. At the end of the day, we all share a common bond in the form of a love for Disney. So, tell us!

What are some thing you love and appreciate at WDW?

It's magic in real life. Pure and simple.

The nostalgia, the history, the experience and the memories all make it a amazing place to be. Where else in the world can you be informed, entertained and inspired all at the same time? It's a unique entity all it's own.

It just brings me back to my childhood and lots of great family memories. I'm able to relax there among the ridiculousness that can sometimes be holiday periods at WDW. I don't know if others have always felt this way, but the memories that last there make it magical to go back to every couple of years.

I love using my refill mugs from 8 years ago... and pool hopping while driving an ECV and pushing a double wide stroller while blocking the fastpass return line.

I love the attention to detail in the theming of each park and area. It's great to see Walt's magic still alive even today.

It's the only place were you can visit Norway for breakfast then travel into the movies, see pirates, go on a cruise through a jungle, climb a mountain in space, go on an African Safari, and wind up in Canada for Dinner!!!!

The way it makes me feel even before I arrive...

The fun of planning the trip..the excitement we get even before we set foot on property..the feeling that I am home the moment we check in.

How I always feel relaxed and at peace when we are there...I am always smiling and happy..no worries or stress..juts pure happiness.

The MAGIC is and has always been there for us..it is my happy place..my escape from real life place..whether we are riding an attraction or watching a show or just sitting on Main Street people watching..whatever we are doing at that moment real life stands still and all is perfect.

I still get goosebumps every time I see Mickey Mouse and I still cry at the end of Spectromagic and at Wishes.

I have many amazing, happy memories and I plan on making a million and one more with Drew and Maggie for as long as we can.

It never gets old for us and I do not think it ever will..:)

...because its a place I can go and leave my stress, worries and problems behind for a while. Its a place where I have created so many wonderful memories over the years, and where I know so many more will be created. I never have to worry about anything more than getting a fastpass and whether to get a Mickey Mouse Premium Bar or a Frozen Banana. Its a place where I stand in amazement that all of this came from an idea that one man had... and that if you really believe in something, it can become a reality :)

It rocks my socks because no matter how many times I walk onto Main Street, it never fails to give me goosebumps and that indescribable back-to-childhood magic feeling all over again.

I can escape the sometimes harsh reality of the real world, bills, jobs, money etc and just have no other priority than to have fun with the ones i love :)

* because as a 7 year old, I could hardly believe such a place could exist in the world I knew

* because as a high schooler, it was a place where I could ride fun rides and buy awesome souveniers to take home to my friends (and they were always impressed)

* because as a college student, it was a place where I could go off on my own for the first time, away from family and friends, and find myself and have the most fun days off ever!

* because I met my wife there

* because it is a place where I took both my children and saw through their eyes the wonders of a magical place where impossible things happened every day

* because as a responsible, working adult, it is a place where I can shed my serious exterior and have fun like a kid again

* because it holds the promise of being a place where I will always be able to go and have a great vacation, regardless of season or weather

disney rocks my mickey socks because everytime you walk into any of the parks and any of the resorts a feeling comes over you like there are no troubles in your life and it is just simply a place where you can feel like nothing else matters and have a great time. the food is delicious and the cast members are so dedicated to their jobs. there is always something to look forward to weither it be a new ride, a snack you love, or a show you cant get enough of. Disney brings smiles to the faces of everyone in their parks and everyone who sees their logo on something. The company stands for what we need in the world which is a little bit of magic here and there. everyone wants to believe fairytales come true and thats why disney is so great. Disneys guests are so diverse but we all seem to feel the same thing when we enter the parks. it really is magic!

Time with my family without some of the negative influences that this world has to offer. The joy that it brings to my daughter's heart and the smile on her face every time we go. The countless memories of family time together without anything else to do but have fun together.

Its a place where I can forget work, bills, or anything else negative. Brings me back to my childhood and all those memories of walking the World with my family. I also had a great honeymoon there as well in 2000! Hope to go back soon!:D

Because it's the only place that fireworks bring a tear to my eye
Because meeting their favorite Princess brought smiles like this :D to my girls when they were little and it still does
