Hi everyone I just saw this twitter post and want to share it with you.

So if you have any doubt thats aparently Where elephants go to die,

The one in the photos is a Mark IV build by WDW for the Las Vegas Monorail.

Some extra information taken from wikipedia about the Las Vegas WDW Monoriel

1995–2002: MGM Grand-Bally's Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail began service as the MGM Grand-Bally's Monorail in 1995.[9] This system ran between the MGM Grand and Bally's hotels using two used Mark IV monorail trains that had operated on the Walt Disney World Monorail. Built through a partnership between the two hotels, the MGM-Bally's system's construction was contracted to VSL Corporation. The grand opening party for the monorail featured showgirls from Bally's famed show, Jubilee!, helping groups to the monorail. Characters from The Wizard of Oz greeted the groups on the MGM side. The two trains each ran back and forth on each beam, and were stored at a maintenance building near the Bally's station (this building still stands today, but it has been severed from the beam).[10]

2002–present: Las Vegas Monorail

In 2002, the original system was closed to begin its conversion to the current Las Vegas Monorail system. The beam was extended from Bally's station (now the Bally's & Paris station) north to the Sahara Hotel and Casino. The track was extended south beyond the MGM station to provide for track switching for the trains, as well as a starting point for a potential future southern extension. The original trains were replaced with nine new Bombardier Mark VI monorail trains.

Wikipedia says that there were two (2) "Used" MARK IV that had operated on WDW. Any ideas of wich monorails were?

I know the red one was for sale on Ebay some years ago (read full news)

A bus drivers told me that this monoriel was a fail test for a monoriel loop that allowed Visitors to park-hope between Epcot and Disneyland Anaheim. As they found the monorail cheaper that building westcot unfortunably It was discharge un a budger cut-down even after reaching destination. Traveling guest can be seen in múltiple locations across vegas

The Bally’s one was MK 4 Lime.

The MGM one, which used to be MK 4 Coral had an unfortunate end at the hands of a monster truck.

The video is on YouTube. I’m not going to post it here.
Ok I've gotta see it. I can't find it. Hints? It's not like anyone died... I assume!

Has anyone determined exactly where these are? I want to see them on Googlemaps.

Also, Are monorail MKIV Silver and Gold still in storage somewhere in Orlando?

I also assume that the rest of the fleet is still in tact in one of the storage containers buried out at the dump https://www.google.com/maps/@28.415117,-81.606115,123m/data=!3m1!1e3
What makes you think the Mark IV's are buried in shipping containers at the dump? The Mark IV's are almost nine feet wide and a shipping container is just shy of eight feet wide. Even a semi trailer is only about eight and a half feet wide. That would be an impossibility. Add to that each car is close to 20,000 lbs. How would you get it in there? I know at least 3 of them are partially in private collections. Part of monorail red is in Georgia visible from a public road. The entire monorail blue train sits in the Nevada desert as stated above.

Wasn't that the one that Las Vegas bought from Disney for their then new monorail.
