Wall-E hole in plot

Just venting here but has is occurred to anyone else that when Wall-E and EVE are flying around out in space that the pivotal "plant" would totally freeze and be dead? Sorry, the nerd in me just had to say something!!!

Considering that is the one non-realistic thing which happens in all of Wall-E, I am willing to overlook that error.

I can smell your sarcasm but for some reason it is the one glowingly wrong thing that bugs the heck out of me when I watch that movie...don't know why:oops:

Would you say it is a great movie, other than the one flaw that irks you a bit?
