With WDW having some big projects going on (currently New Fantasyland still needing to be finished with the Seven Dwarves coaster), how does that factor into your planning for your next trip? Do you go now and enjoy the new things that are already open? Do you plan to wait until the completion of the big stuff and then enjoy it all at one time? Or do you go during the work and again afterwards?

Going this year and take in what has recently opened and plan on going back when the Dwarfs mine ride is completed. Construction going on at Disney doesnt bother me one bit. It just gives me more reason to get excited for whats to come and anticipate visiting new things the next time.

At first I wasn't plannnig on going until the mine train was finished ( 2014), but as usual I got hooked into going this summer!:D

I don't mind the construction that goes on besides I love love seeing how they build stuff anyways... that is one of the fascinating things of WDW.

Already been twice with NF construction going on, have another trip scheduled during its constructions, and will go when it's done. It doesn't really impact on our trip at all and pp say there is always construction somewhere in WDW. If you waited for there to be no construction you'd never go.

For me, who can't go as frequently as I'd like, I lean more towards going after the construction is done.... especially if one of the things being constructed is one I'd love to try. (i.e. Seven Dwarves Mine Train). If something is still under construction that I'd never have anything to do with anyway (i.e. GF DVC building), then I wouldn't mind it.

Both! If I had to pick one, I guess I'd wait until they finished whatever I wanted to see...

But if I could swing both, I'd do both! :)

We have limited times we can go during the year, so we take what we can get. If something is shut down for a refurb/not finished with conctrustion, we'll still go. BTM was closed during our last trip, it just makes it that much more exciting on our upcoming trip. Same for The Mine Train.

We go whenever we have saved up enough money to go. Having been there multiple times, it really doesn't matter if something is down for renovation because we've probably done it on a previous trip and if it's still under construction, we'll do it on the next. There is more than enough to do at any time.

We live in Central Illinois and only get down once a year (although I am really shooting for making a second trip next fall for Christmas, in addition to our spring trip), so I don't have the luxury of planning around construction projects. I have to work around my son's school schedule, sometimes things going on at work, and I have to plan around the different price seasons (preferring, if possible to avoid the peak times). So I have enough other things to plan around as it is without worrying about what kind of construction or refurbs will be going on. Basically, I pick the most doable time based on the above factors, then just have to accept the parks as they are (or how they will be when we get there).

I have been going at least once a year since the FLE started and it is really neat to see the progress. It is really cool to see how the mine train is coming along and down the road I will have pictures to look back at to see how it all came together. The last major one I remember seeing as a work in progress was Expedition Everest over at AK

I've been to Disney World both in 2011 and 2012 when there was construction going on and when various attractions were undergoing refurbishment. Didn't both me though.:)
